Does this kit void any warranty?

Nope... and it's worth every dollar you spent on it too.  My FE card went from 84C down to 43C.

Nice!! Does it work on 1080 Ti FTW3? I was thinking of step-up from 1080 Hybrid to Ti FTW3.
Edit: I am thinking not, so then which card is top end to go with this? I like my Hybrid but want the 3gb the Ti offers.

Does this kit void any warranty?

That question has already been answered (see earlier post above).  Again, the installation of this kit on an EVGA card will NOT void the warranty.  However, if you install this kit on another manufacturer's card (i.e., MSI, Gigabyte, Asus, Zotac, PNY, etc.), you will most likely void the warranty.  As far I know, EVGA is the one and only company that allows the user to do light modifications on the card (i.e. replacing the stock air cooler with an AiO solution).  However, you can void the EVGA card warranty if during this process you damage the card or any of it's components in any way.  I hope this helps answer your question!

Finally getting my TI today, debating on if I should install the hybrid cooler before trying the card out on it's on, or if I should be "smart" and make sure it all works first, and see the actually sounds and temp difference it makes....tough decisions, but pumped to finally have both the card and cooler!

Make note that when running benchmarks, temps will be a bit higher due to the atypical load benchmarks put on GPUs.  Temps are usually lower for regular gaming activities

DISCLAIMER:  There may actually be an 'outlier' game or two that actually stress the GPU as much as a benchmark, but I don't know of one - maybe someone can chime in with some examples?

If that's under a benchmark it's even better that is a crazy temperature drop what ever way you look at it.

I heard rumors that the 1080Ti founders Hybrid kit was just a limited one time run... anyone know if this is true? I am very very interested in buying one, but I dont have the patience or the time to sit on the evga site all the time refreshing hoping to get a damn kit....

How is it possible they can continue to make the same supply/demand mistakes over and over again? There is no way they didnt know there was a massive demand for a hybrid kit for the titanXP/1080Ti founders...

Anyway, if anyone can confirm or deny this rumor for me that would be awesome, also if its not true does anyone know when there will be some consistent stock coming in?

According to the 400-HY-5388-B1 product page on the EVGA web site this hybrid cooler fits a whole load of other cards as well...

Titan XP

11G-P4-6390-KR (GTX 1080Ti FE)
11G-P4-6393-KR (GTX 1080Ti SC iCX)

08G-P4-6180-KR (GTX 1080 FE)
08G-P4-6181-KR (GTX 1080 Gaming ACX3.0)
08G-P4-6183-KR (GTX 1080 SC Gaming ACX3.0)

08G-P4-6170-KR (GTX 1070 FE)
08G-P4-6171-KR (GTX 1070 Gaming ACX3.0)
08G-P4-6172-KR (GTX 1070 ?)
08G-P4-6173-KR (GTX 1070 SC Gaming ACX3.0)

08G-P4-5180-KR (GTX 1080 Gaming reference design)
08G-P4-5182-KR (GTX 1080 SC Gaming reference design)

...but not the GTX1080Ti FTW edition.

This "improved version" is already released for FTW variants. I bought one from amazon and using it for a while.
Improvement is additional VRAM cooling. But it increases core temps due to additional vram cooling load. However with push/pull, I didn't see over 48C with +125 core and +550 vram OC on 1070 FTW

Jacob did say the reason this AIO was more expensive was because it was a smaller / limited run. I'd take that with a grain of salt though, considering the 8+ months prior to the release where it was "almost here" over and over again. I really have no idea why EVGA do this again and again with new products - they either have no production planner whatsoever, or the one they do have secretly works for AMD, judging by how bad they screw up again and again with under-supply.

Update. B&H just sent me an email they are 'backordered'.... They are looking less and less likely. I fired off an email to get some clarification if that affected their May 2nd in stock date. However it sure would be excellent if the product manager would step up to the plate and give us more definitive information. Surely their supply system isn't a complete mystery to those in charge of it.
If you're not going to have the product in sufficient quantities so that it isn't a matter of luck getting one for several months, let us know now. Thanks.

It just occurred to me but I believe I know what the limited run is about. I think the reason this version is limited is because the next version for the ICX boards and the FTW cards will also be compatible with the 1080.s and the Ti's
Just a thought.

Can't help but notice what looks like those AIO tubes a bit stretched or stressed.  Is there a way to lessen that by maybe positioning the rad to the top of the case?

The rad is at the top. They have plenty of play in them. Definitely not stressed.

The irony in the title just kills me.

"'New and Improved' with a 33% price increase"

Everyone always expect everything to stay the same price for 100 years.
