So, I've had my 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid for about a year and a half now. When I bought the card, I swapped out the EVGA radiator fan for my own Noctua fan(controlled by an adapter plugged into the second fan header on the card) and I no longer have the EVGA fan anymore. Probably a dumb move on my part by not keeping the stock fan. Well recently I've had issues with the pump on the card making a lot of odd noises and it seems as though today the pump died completely. With my Noctua at 100%(1500RPM), it won't go lower than 50C at idle and as soon as I run any game, it will shoot up to 95+C within a few seconds before I turn the game off. It also makes a really loud grinding type noise now which I've had before but after a few minutes in the past it would go away. I am planning on RMA'ing the card but wanted to ask here first to see if not having the stock radiator fan will affect my RMA at all? I hope not as I really love the card and can't afford to replace it. Any help on this will be appreciated!
Thanks!
Ryan
