Howdy folks. Just wanted to know what size fans the 1060 SSC fans are. One of them is struggling to spin. I noticed because temps went up about 3 degrees Celsius during gaming and the other fan is spinning faster to make up the difference. Are these 75mm? Does anyone know the model number of these fans? I'll give this thread a few days before I take my card apart to find the model number of the fans. I don't want to RMA btw. Thanks in advance

Unfortunately we cannot offer a direct replacement for the fan, as we would offer an RMA for fan issues. What is the exact Part Number of the card?

Sajin You could ask tech support for the fan size...
Thanks. Just waiting for a response Cool GTX If EVGA cann't help with just a fan - because you do not want to RMA your card
Other option is the route Give an update when your fan issue is resolved
Thanks for the link. I'm more looking for what to buy, not where to buy. EVGATech_DakotaT Unfortunately we cannot offer a direct replacement for the fan, as we would offer an RMA for fan issues. What is the exact Part Number of the card?

I would think an RMA would be the better option then buying the fan personally. Who knows you might get lucky and get a better model. At worst you would get the same card back without having to replace the fan yourself. That is as long as it would qualify for an RMA.

I agree. RMA is the way to go in this particular situation.

Yep, doing a cross ship rma and just swapping the coolers would be another good option, but the op clearly stated that he didn't want to rma the card.

That's probably going to be the only way to keep your current card and get the fan replaced

I had to keep rechecking my post to make sure that's actually what I said lol. PLA09215B12H is the fan part #. $18.99 for the pair on Amazon Prime. And I don't have to be without a graphics card. Swapping a fan is one of the easiest things you can do. I use this PC for work and CANNOT be without a card for any amount of time. I'll let this thread know if I have any issues (for future searches). Thanks all

EVGA have sent me a replacement fan before for my 560ti without an RMA, I'm surprised that's not an option now. Try raising a support ticket, surely sending you a fan would be a more cost-effective solution? lol

The fans are made by powerlogic model: PLA09215B12H The EVGA fans will have the 0DB stop feature if you buy fans from ebay with the same part number they may not have the same stop feature unless you buy the same generation ACX 2.0 fans. The fan blades however are swappable as long as you get dual ball bearing variants the shaft diameter is the same and they are made by powerlogic. This would be an example of a correct fan: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/New-EVGA-GTX1050TI-GTX1070-GTX1080-GTX970-PLA09215B12H-Graphics-Card-Cooling-Fan/253321132061?hash=item3afb1db81d:g:0XEAAOSwCtJaOb9r There are others on ebay. For example to get around the EVGA fan howl issue I'm running the MSI fan baldes on the EVGA fan hub works great no more noise. NOTE: if you buy an EVGA ACX 1.0 fan they won't stop spinning below 60 deg C

Warranty ran out on me and my fans are making noises (ball bearing noises) so I contact tech support which was a 100% useless entity. Not even a specific part number. This is beyond ludicrous, and as a lifelong fanboy of EVGA I can say those days are over. Heard far too many stories then to have support not even offer any real help? Forget them. Thanks for reaching out. We unfortunately no longer carry 10 series parts or fans. We do not provide a repair service for cards out of warranty. You might want to check ebay to see if you can find the fans but we do not have a specific part number to provide. We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you pull the fan out there will be a model number on the back side. Google the part number and several places to buy it will show up. Order the part and install it when it gets delivered

With the help from Reddit I believe I found the part. 87mm. Still, companies suck these days (not just in computers) where they can't even give you a part number YET we live in the age of virtually unlimited storage space. Poor is poor.
