z87 stinger PCIE not working

I just got a new card and was excited to set it up. To my dismay it never did start working properly. The fans turned on and the led but nothing else. I was beginning to think it was a bad card, that is until I tried out an older card and tried putting it into the slot. To my surprise that didn't work either. I had all the proper power cables connected, and the card firmly in place, but the bios just won't recognize it's there, with either card and the computer doesn't recognize it's there and neither is the program that I downloaded with the card.

     The first picture is the bios with the card in, second one shows the card connected to the pcie slot and power connected, the S shows the power is working and only goes on when connected to the PCI slot.

    Your photo shows that you're running the outdated BIOS 1.01, so the first thing you should try is updating to the latest version: http://forums.evga.com/Z87-BIOS-updates-m2232491.aspx
