whats up everyone!

im building my first pc. im using evga everything including the z170 classified k.

i wasnt aware mobo's had specific ram compatibility lists. i bought HyperX Fury 2x8 2400
model # HX424C15FB2K2

i see several kingston fury rams listed of the same model but not the 2400 specifically.

does this mean the 2400 wont work with my mobo???? i see the other manufacturers listed like corsair have several of their 2400 speeds listed.

if it will work will it do so how its intended? why will it or wont it work? ram used must be on that short list????

thanks for the replies... feeling kinda unsure... never a good thing when your about to do your first ever pc build. : )

It's more of a guide line and is just a list of RAM that they have tested. There is very little reason it should not work. Just go in the BIOS and make sure to select XMP profile for your RAM.
