Survey: http://freeonlinesurveys....=wd1sh13ot21tpy4542855

Hello,

I have been wanting to do a community build for awhile. I have taken the liberty of choosing the first 4 parts which are EVGA X99 Classified, Caselabs S8, 5960x, and natemans x99 blocks. I am attempting to stay with EVGA and smaller excellent performing companies such as nateman.

This will not be a quick build for a few reasons. I think people doing this build would rather use 980ti/1080 rather than the 980. Procurring these parts take time, example is nateman has my X99 board and designed the blocks using my board... this takes time. Finally this will be my first time doing custom cables a build this large.

The raffle, simply go to the link above and take the survey. Make sure to fill out your username. After 50 votes or 2 months I will use a random selection process and the EVGA gtx 970 will go to the winner. I do not cover import taxes sorry. If winner wants to upgrade they simply need to pay the difference.

Requirements: Minimum of 20 votes, and users must have at least 50 posts/61 day account at time of winning. The reason for this is I have done raffles on other games and I am either swamped with leechers with week old accounts or a person making multiple accounts to vote. Sorry, if you find this infair please PM me.

Thank you all, and good luck.

Are you going to be off base Seta?

    I vote:

    XSPC Radiators
    Corsair fans
(no experience with monsoon, so I can't suggest wither fittings or tubing)

    Clear/Black
Ek Res X3 with multi option top and down tube.
2 lines to keep the temp of the cpu down more (even if it is miniscule)
3 GPUs, unless you absolutely can fold, then 4. If you aren't folding, 4 won't be worth the extra cost.

yep off base. wife is korean so makes things much simpler, but cost of electricity is still high. So things like maxwell put me so far into the green side the red side is faint dot.

you and me have very similiar taste. simple and elegant. not sure how I would mount ek yet. was going to try amd keep the tube and pump a single piece but difficult still.

Welcome to Korea.  My shop is right on the other side of the Osan Pax terminal, if you ever fly out Space A.  Hit me up if you pass by.  Sending a PM with local number in case you need anything that can be delivered by Train or something as well.

    Corsair fans all the way,
I use them in all my builds and suggest them to friends and family, as well as customers at work(I repair computers for a large retail store).

Also recommend red and black for the color - ive tried blue and black, just something is more appealing with the red and black
xspc rad and ek blocks would be great too - or if nate could make some for the GPU's to match the mobo - maybe a Mohawk engraved on each block lol

Updated with survey. Everyone above this post has had their vote accounted manually so no need to revote. They also have exemption from rules as the rules were not as detailed as they are now. I apologize for the inconvenience

Primochill Res (thats whats going in my build):

Can I suggest PETG tubing to you? Easier to work with, more forgiving, and almost indestructible.

I saw the primochill res after i made the survey, my only issue is mounting a pump directly to the res.

I will look up petg tubing. I thought monsoon used petg idk, too many acronym.

I think there might be some confusion about the fans. I would be using noctua industrials not the brown ones. They are linked below. For some reason the survey maker keepa cutting off the description.

Primochill also has that res without the pump mounting directly on it.

Nice contest here... getting ready to upgrade my i7-930 / GTX 670 build to a Hadron Air x99 mITX, the 970 would certainly offset some money. Color wise I would go with wrapped cords (Black / Dark Blue). Have a good day!

The smallest x99 is matx, which wont fit in a hadron. You will need to use a z-series mobo. Although i wish they made a mitx x99, wife would be ao happy to have apowerful cpu in a small form factor.

I thought about maybe doing that but the issue is that there iant enough red or blue to justify both. Instead of a mix i would get a patchwork of color. This is mostly because there is no color on the mobo or gpus. The color accents only come from tubing, reservoir; cabling, fans, and if i do them lights. Which seems like alot but in reality it is just not that much.

I hate to say be careful. incheon has been holding my motherboard and Mouse for over a month. I will probably not order from New Egg again, as incheon keeps hiding the boxes from NewEgg specifically.

I have all my stuff repackaged before getting to me. I also can order/ship to my off post directory. My wife found a korean site that sells evga gear so that helps.
