x99 FTW Questions

Hey All,
  I am in the market to upgrade my i7 930 and am going to go with the 5820k and x99 FTW board. My question is how much of a performance difference is there going to be if I was to go with (x2) 970 SSC with this CPU and Board rather than the 5930k? What would the (x2) cards actually run at 16x8 or 8x8?

    There would be a performance difference but it wouldn't be a huge one. With the 5820K you will be running x8 x8 due to it only having 28 PCIe lanes. On the 5930K you will be running at x16 x16
