which pcie lane for 2 vga?

I would put the second gtx 980ti in sli, in which lane pcie put it to work better and achieve good temperature with ventilation, motherboard EVGA X99 FTW and the cpu a 5820k and use even now put a sound card into the slot 4x , thank you

    Hello,
     
    here is the breakdown for the PCI lanes with a 28 lane CPU (5820k)
     
    PCI-E Lane Distribution (28 Lane Processor)
    PE1 – x16 (x8 if PE2/PE3 are used)
    PE2 – x8
    PE3 – x8 (Not functional with a 28 lane processor.)
    PE4 – x8
    PE5 – x4 (Gen 2 only, 4 lanes pulled from PCH)
    PE6 – x4
     
     
    I would suggest using lane 1 and 4 for 2 way SLI for optimal performance and temperature.

    Perfect then 1 and 4, and the sound card is fine if I put it to 6
