Hello,

I bought a gtx 1080 evga founders edition and I was wondering if I can overclock it without voiding my warranty.

Thanks.

    Welcome to the forums.
You are free to overclock all you want, you can even swap cooling solutions, water DICE, LN2 the whole nine yards.  Just keep the original heatsink and shroud so you can return it to stock if you ever need to RMA.  One thing we do **NOT** cover is physical damage.  If you mount a waterblock, great, if you mount a waterblock and slip with the screwdriver and poke a hole in the PCB, you are on your own.
Sol clock it, cool iot, have fun, be sure to post your numbers, and if you have any questions, I am here as much as I can be, and tons of others are here to answer questions and help out along the way.
