I have a issue after I try reinstall my thermaltake frio. The system stay unstable but I think it's for bad installation. I try many things and system beep, make the ff codes one time and try loading windows and shutdown and don't start anymore. I enter in bios, but not have much time after system goes down. The BIOS is default values. I can't access this. I Think my cpu is don't seated correct, i'll try with stock cooler. PS: I clear cmos, remove cmos battery, verify psu connections. Did you try reseating your CPU as you state in your above post? Does the board cycle quickly through the LED codes and end on "FF", or does it go directly to "FF" as soon as you power it on? Gently, yet firmly press down on your BIOS chip to ensure it is properly seated. You state in your above post that you cannot access your BIOS...if that is so, then where did you obtain the settings that you entered on the BIOS template. Additionally, please edit your first post and add the RAM part number.

When I First Power it ON, yes it ends on ff, good!. they go of all the cycles and try load Windows, before the finish of the load screen, they shutdown. And I try soon turn it on. It's GO FF straight and all lights oN or SHutdown =/ Gently, yet firmly press down on your BIOS chip to ensure it is properly seated? YES! You state in your above post that you cannot access your BIOS...? Well I Can Access less then a minute my bios. I Inform my previously bios and what I can make with a minute. if that is so, then where did you obtain the settings that you entered on the BIOS template. I don't see the RAM part number. The following is not the part number: 4GB DDR3 Corsair XMS3 We need the part number as written on the actual sticks or the packaging.

I turned on the pc, enter the bios, disabled the 1.44floppy and disabled the functions in cpu configuration intel speedstep, halt state, cpu thermal control, virtualization tecnology, save with f10 and it's loading windows, I'm in desktop. Change data and hour and access the forum, but when I see my post the pc shutdown again. I'll try with a stock cpu cooler with all fine and see if it's the thing.

You came here looking for assistance, am I am attempting to assist you. I know what I am doing, so please try all of the settings that I provided in post #6. The changes that I made are in parenthesis. If there is no parenthesis, then make sure that the setting that is listed is entered in your BIOS. I want you to set the RAM voltage to 1.65v because you are using 4 modules so you may need a slight increase in voltage past the manufacturer's recommended voltage of 1.60v. Try the settings, and if they do not work for you, then post what happened in this thread, and either I, or someone else will assist you further.

I see that you edited post #9 and added an additional second set of RAM. Jeffreyham is correct....mixing and matching RAM can cause issues. Try the settings in post #6 with all four sticks, but you may end up having to remove two of them.

A new cooler isn't going to make a difference if, you need to reseat the chip itself. While you have the cooler off.....remove the chip too. Clean it up real good and make sure that you carefully and properly reinstall it.

Like Jeffreyham suggested, take a good look at your CPU and the CPU socket. Make sure that the socket has no bent pins, discoloration, etc. Correctly apply some good TIM, and make sure that your CPU cooler is properly mounted.

norum Fine! Thanks, i Will try tonight with new cooler and see what's happening if the problem persists I don't post nothing. I will POST tomorrow in work so. I know that you are experienced users, but I'm said I have problems, my pc is shutdown or presents the FF and Red Light Problem because the FF or no present the redlight, but shows only FF and do nothing. So I hope that I can test your settings in post#6 Not to jump in and misdirect anyone, but if I am reading correctly the red light at the top of the board is on or coming on? beofre or while its shutting itself off? This problem right after a new cooler was installed? I gotta say unless I a missing something I really think you need to follow the above step in post # 2 again with the stock cooler jsut to see what happens. I think your messing something up (not on purpose of course), but it seems too coincidental that it was stable for 3 years then right after a cooler install it shuts down immediately and wont post.

If your cooler will not properly mount, then you need to use a different aftermarket cooler, or the stock cooler. If you use the stock cooler, make sure that all four push-pins are properly seated.
