I presently have the privilege of building this custom case and would like to keep everyone up to date on its progress.  This is the continuation of a build thread that was deleted, so this is Volume 2!

I'm hoping to get this thread caught up with most of the pictures and info that the original thread had, but for now I'm going to just post the sketches and then some pictures of where I'm at now.

Here are some sketches of what I'm shooting for:

Here is where I'm at now!

Thanks again for everyone that had posted such encouraging words in the original thread.  Although the posts are gone, the encouragement shared continues to linger!

Here's some pictures of the speaker mounts.

The speakers in these pictures are actually exact copies of the ones I'm going to use, but are damaged ones that I use for testing.

When the acrylic is cut the edges are rough of course so I'm getting them smooth except for the third picture here where the end has been rounded.  It is for the waterfall where the water will go over this edge.

Here is some more progress on the keyboard door.  Due to the angles involved it has been a bit tricky.  Of course the edges are going to be sanded and smoothed before painting.

This shows the levers added to the keyboard door so that it will rotate out correctly.

I'm almost done with the air filter for the Baffle Box.

You can see how the air filter is held between two sets of aluminum screen.  When Falcon needs to change/check the air filter, he just lifts this out of its slot, and unfolds it.

Here are the two sides etched.  The aquarium will have the hayabusa symbol and the waterfall will have the peregrine falcon with its wings spread out.

Lol No mass production on this, but once it is done, I'll be able to go back to building "regular" cases!

The 8" touch screen is more of a "dashboard" screen for the case itself.  From there Falcon will be able to change various settings, control servos, keep track of temps and fan speeds as well as regular computer work.  He's planning on actually using a three monitor setup for actual gaming etc.

Gotta admit, I like the case, somewhat.  Wouldn't want one personally, though, it's too ungainly and huge.

The aquarium is coming together.  It isn't a simple box because I needed it to fit around the PSU's in the back.  The first picture is  of it held up in its proposed place and the second picture is it held up against the outside panel that it will be attached to next.

Tomorrow, I should have pictures of the waterfall side for you!

These pictures are of me routering the contoured sides of the waterfall.  I made the shape out of wood first and then used it as a guide.

Here is the finished waterfall before attaching it to the outside panel.  Since it is clear, it is hard to see.  Once we add lights, it (and especially the peregrine) will show up better.

Here are two pictures of the aquarium after being attached its outside panel.  The second picture is a close up of the sand box under the aquarium.  I'm going to be filling it with craft sand in a (hopefully) nice design.

This is just something that I made for the fun of it for my wife today out of the scrap acrylic from Falcon's case.

Sorry it ended up being a bit blurry.  The camera has a hard time focusing on the acrylic it seems.  I know this doesn't have anything to do with the case, but since we are family on this forum, I wanted to share it!
