Also check this part out ..... VIOD  LOL!

Be careful ! The scammers never sleep and are coming up with ways to get people who think they caught a break and are going to make some money =)

How it basically works out if you are wondering is ...

They send you a fake check from a real account or a fake account and send you an amount over the price you requested so that you may send the difference to the shipper so that they can ship the product to you.

You deposit the check and do so accordingly and the next thing you know you sent the guy like   100-XXXX amount of money and the check turns out to be fake and your bank takes back the money they gave you in good faith and you just ended up getting screwed and sending this guy money!.

WATCH out for scammers =)!

They are the Viod in this life.

    yeah, hahah.

I started getting suspicious right away cause of his play on words and his lack of attention to detail. He would not answer my questions properly.

As soon as i read the email about me having to send the shipper money from the check i flagged it as BS and knew what was going on :P

yeah, that's a pretty old scam now, been around for many years. at least the scammer is out the money it cost to mail the bogus check to you. It is mail fraud. you can take that info to the local police dept...not sure if they would really do anything about it though.

This is exactly why I only except cash and deal locally (about a 30 - 40 mile radius from my house) when buying/selling on craigs list.

The lesson is some people really sucks and craigslist sucks due to these people. I really don't use craigslist, call me crazy but I don't trust it. There is way to much crap going on over on that site for my comfort.

The check looks legit, Lmao. Wow. I still wouldn't cash a check unless it was from my employers or someone I know where they live etc. Any other checks arriving through mail from a different source = Untrusted =P

That person actually e-mailed me for a job. His name was spelled "Micheal". Hint number one right there.

Remember that whenever people want to send you a ridiculous amount of cash for the job you do in any way, it is most likely a scam.

Someone tried that on me once years ago, but my bank suspected I was being scammed and had the check investigated. The guy was busted for fraud.
