BIOS 77 Updates:
  • Adds IOH Clock Skew, tWL and tREF options to BIOS
BIOS updating can be accomplished VIA the below methods:


CD/DVD Installation - Recommended installation method
  • Download the correct .iso file below for your motherboard:
         141-GT-E770 - EVGA X58 Classified3
         132-GT-E768 - EVGA X58 FTW3
         131-GT-E767 - EVGA X58 SLI3
         170-BL-E762 - EVGA X58 Classified 4-way
         141-BL-E760 - EVGA X58 Classified
         141-BL-E759 - EVGA X58 Classified
         132-BL-E758 - EVGA X58 SLI
         141-BL-E757 - EVGA X58 SLI LE
         121-BL-E756 - EVGA X58 SLI Micro
  • Use a CD Burning software to burn the .iso image onto a blank CD (Nero, Alochol 120%, MagicISO etc.)
  • After it has burned, insert CD and restart the machine, go into the BIOS and load defaults, save and exit
  • Now set the CD Drive as the primary boot device, or press escape while the system is booting to select CD as the bootable device.
  • After flash remove the CD, and power off PC Completely.
  • Turn on the PC and load defaults in BIOS


USB FLOPPY Installation - Recommended installation method

  • Download the correct .exe file below for your motherboard:
         141-GT-E770 - EVGA X58 Classified3
         132-GT-E768 - EVGA X58 FTW3
         131-GT-E767 - EVGA X58 SLI3
         170-BL-E762 - EVGA X58 Classified 4-way
         141-BL-E760 - EVGA X58 Classified
         141-BL-E759 - EVGA X58 Classified
         132-BL-E758 - EVGA X58 SLI
         141-BL-E757 - EVGA X58 SLI LE
         121-BL-E756 - EVGA X58 SLI Micro
  • Insert blank floppy disk into drive and run executable
  • After the floppy has written fully, restart the machine, go into the BIOS and load defaults, save and exit
  • Now set the USB Floppy as the primary boot device, or press escape while the system is booting to select USB Floppy as the bootable device
  • After flash remove the floppy, power off PC Completely
  • Turn on the PC and load defaults in BIOS

Warning:
**Do not restart or interrupt your PC while the flash is ongoing
**Do not Flash BIOS on overclocked settings
**It is always recommended to power-down after flash and Clear CMOS

    We are working on the RAID Rom, may be some updates in next or upcoming version.

    how do you safely power down after BIOS update since the videos ive seen people are reaching behind their PC and yanking the power cord out.

    That is one way, but usually just holding down the power button will do the trick.

    Had to use IE since Chrome doesn't cooperate....

    So far so good on my 767, i7 920 still stable at 4... Happy camping :)

    Is the DVD DL link broke and not supplying all the info after DL , I burned a ISO 3 times now and everytime it loads it just sits there saying "Please Input Name" and no matter what I do it just sits there blinking saying that at the Bios load screen ..

    I skipped everything since 64, and I'm gonna try out Turbo Performance...so we shall see if my 4.3GHz OC holds up.
    Not a board designer, so I still don't quite understand what IOH Clock Skew does.
