Sooooooooooooooooo... Autumn is here, the leaves are changing... MOH sucks and that gives me extra time on my hands... And I realized it has been over three months since building a new complete system! The agony!   I have decided I no longer find Overclocking to be as thrilling as it once was to me. So I no longer need a dual purpose system and such. time to shrink the need a bit. I decided it is time to build just a simple rock solid gaming system and call it good. So here is my list. All on order as a few moments ago and figure Halloween weekend I will build it. Unless of course it all comes in sooner and I decide to do it early "Cuz I wanna"  Corsair 800D (yeah a second one, me likie!) Classified 3 770 920 DO (My last one  ) Pair of 470FTW HC's Feser 360 grrrr Out of stock... Have to go with a Black Ice GTX360 (Like them just as much) Re-use my HK block poo on that... Changed to an all black EK Supreme HF ( Link) a pair of 1tb HDD's for RAID 0 Mushkin Black 1866's (Sick and tired of overpriced 2000's) Single Dual bay XSPC res/pump assembly Pretty blue White Feser hose Crap load of Bitspower fittings Corsair HX1000 (like these to much and can't bring myself to go bigger yet) Lampton FC-5 V2 Fan controller ( Link) (Wanted the new touch screen but not yet out) ( Link) Pics to come as the parts come it! Keep an eye out for my for sale thread. It will be full of good stuff! Including cases, Fresh 759 MOBO with blocks and so on

Nice - Have fun w/ it since like everyone else has told me building is actually the fun part. So true So true... I run a HX1000 in 800D w/ 2x 470 SC's, 980x @ 4.2 (1.36v), all watercooled (full coverage board block included), 2 360 rad's, 16 fans, etc etc etc - She does fine. With the prices of the 470's seeming to be coming down soon it makes me wonder so so much about going TRI SLI on my 470's. I can't find a justified reason for NEEDING it but, we all know how that ends up  Have fun w/ the build AB!

LOL. I tested my brand new 770 last night on my open bench (a box) and everything went well.
Looks like the only differences in our two new rigs are I'm replacing my 470s with 480 HCs, using a 980X I got used from the market place, putting in some burple (bluish-purple) tubing, I'm going to use an old VelociRaptor drive since my SSD bit the big one (with a 1TB for storage), and I have a different fan controller. Oh, and I'm going to mount the 480 rad on the back like last time.
Today was tear-down and start to build. I spent 5 hours straight on it and my poor old back is shot. I will hopefully finish it up tomorrow and then post a thread.
This is really funny because I was actually going to use white tubing also...man, I guess like minds really do think alike.
Are you using the 470s you had from before or are you planning on putting something "new" in there?

No, I think this stuff is Feser UV Blue. I sure looks purple to me though.

My Feser blue seems blue under normal light. Then gets kinda baby-blue under UV.
You can see it in my Mods Rigs. It seems that they have inconsistent coloring as I've seen alot of Blurple too :)

Going to re-use the ones I already have. You and I both know later this or early next year they will be out and the new will be in anyway

ahh must be the same my uv blue primochill is purple aswell. its looks awsome :)

Yes... The 480FTW HC's are the king of the hill right now for single units, and the AMD 5970's are for dual. I have not seen very many of those either. If anyone wants them, I think they better get them quick. The 470FTW HC's had been there not to long ago...

Nice work space AB. My man-cave looks like a tornado ripped into it at the moment. I have parts and pieces all over the floor while building this thing. I hope to have it done tomorrow...we shall see.
