New driver sweeper is out...
 
New in the 2.5.0 release:
  • Replaced cog icon with a new icon.
  • Character to seperate registry keys from registry values in the analyse list.
  • Some layout changes.
  • Increased default window size.
  • Update notifications, auto update has been removed.
  • Directory wildcard search for custom filters.
  • Added Norwegian translation. Thanks to Magnus Granås.
  • Added Arabic translation. Thanks to Awadh.
Updated:
  • Improved registry cleaning methods.
  • Improved directory cleaning methods.
  • Rewritten the readme file.
  • Rewritten the help file.
  • Internal libraries.
  • Improved Creative - Sound cleaning.
  • Thanks to Karol C. Improved ATi - Display cleaning.
  • Thanks to several people for supplying additional entries.
  • Improved NVIDIA - Display cleaning. Thanks to theGryphon.
Fixed:
  • Rare crash using backup.
  • %WinDir% variable not working properly.

    Do you have to uninstall your previous Driver Sweeper version before installing the new one?

    Hmm was the 2.5.0 taken down or something as the link takes me to 2.1.0 download which I'd think would be older by the numbers. The date say 10-23 though so something is not adding up.

    Software Description

    Guru3D - Driver Sweeper is a fast tool to remove driver leftovers from your system.     Well something is messed up as when I go to guru3D the latest version that comes up for me is 2.1.0 and that is also what I get when I download.
     
    OK got it directly from Phyxion.net and that comes up the right 2.6.0 version, guru3D is whack as their version and date do not match.

    Not using guru3D any more and used to like that site for various downloads as it is fast. Wonder how many of my other programs are way out of date. LOL
