it doesn't have a name, these are just concept images for ideas of one to hopefully be built like it.

Any EVGA case definitley has to have cable management, a window, a black interior, a CPU cooler backplate hole, plus lots of places for fans/rads. And not too expensive either.

There could even be two cases, one geared toward air cooling and one geared toward liquid cooling.

if someone can build a design in AutoCAD, they can send that file to someone with a CNC machine for the detail work, then bend the ends over like a standard case design.

I might try to build a case eventually, but atm I have no time to do such a thing.

This is my Setup:

Motherboard: Asus P5Q3
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 at 2.83 mhz
RAM: 2 x DDR3 Patriot Viper 1 GB Sticks at 664 mhz
(7-7-7-20)
Graphics Card: EVGA 9800 GT 512 MB at
650 Core clock/ 1619 mhz Shader Clock/ 950 mhz mem clock
PSU: Antec Neopower 550 Watts
Case: Antec Three Hundred
Hard Drive: Western Digital ? 500gb

Something like this would be awsome... btw there is 4 rads in there "2x 4x120 and 2x 3x120" :P

Now that is one beautiful case

Now that is one ugly case.

Way too big for my taste.  It's a filing cabinet?  It completely dwarfs the hardware inside it and seems all too unnecessary.

EDIT:  Sorry mick.

That's OK ty_ger07. It's not to everyone's taste. I must admit, it is big! but I wanted to be able to fit 480 rad in there with clear air-flow across the case. You think it's big now? I've had requests to make it bigger so that 140mm rads can be fitted and to increase the number PCI slots to 10 so that the EVGA 4x SLI (XL-ATX) board can be fitted???

What about flipping the insides like a Raven, and flipping the 5.25 bays like a LL x1000? Might help with the space allocation

Mick, you keep posting and you know your design is adorable, for me there is no comparable case and I been looking at all options for almost a week now full time, to get enough rads or heat out of the case fast enough. That is unless you go for a brick case option.  Yes, I am one of those that want your case larger..

I see the EVGA forum mods here asking or have been in contact with you to build it as well.

I think what we all need to know is, what does it take to get you rolling. a royalty contract, a case manufacturer, cash in hand, you cant patent it, sing on agreement?

What is holding you up? The grass is always greener on the other side?

So sorry if I am pushing you on, but I need to make some choices what to do next for my next build.

Just give us a hint, where you are, what is stopping you, of how we can make this happen, define what is holding you up so I or others can come to help you out in any way possible,  this so we can make this case pop of the screen and onto the floor please.

Cosmos II water cooled, EVGA SR-X, Intel E5-2687W x2, EVGA  Titan Black Hydrocopper signature x3, 1 x Dell 30" 308WFP,  96Gb 1600Mhz ram, Creative XB-X-FI,  256GB OCZ SSD, Storage controller: Areca 1222 in Raid 0 with 3 x, 2 TB Seagate HD, EVGA 1500W PSU

I've been dying on getting my hands on one of these I currently have four people looking for one. In Alabama, Chicago, Indiana, and Jersey hopefully someone can get me one.

As we all want a Case and other things. IMO its best for EVGA to stick to what they do best. its easy for AutoCAD to render but to make one its a whole new story.

Designing and rendering is just a hobby of mine. When I first designed this case it was more of my dream case and not something I was going to build. I  haven't got the funds or the resources to be able build even a one off, let alone put it into production. However, after posting my first few renders, interest in the case was intense. So I have been trying to get one of the large case manufacturers interested in building it without any luck. It's not all bad news though. I have got someone who may be able to get it into production, but it is still early days. I'm afraid the way things are at the moment, it wont be any time soon. Hopefully, in the not too distant future it may be available to order.

If you don't I will come to your rescue, but only if you give me a decent fair split deal on the case sales you do. If you are stuck please consider or give feedback so we can get you running.

That is a wicked case, what program did you use to make and renter that? Very pro. Though I must say it would be super loud.

Though you did give me an idea of something I cold do with my case. See for the case I am working on I will make it modular even the front and sides pieces will have other versions you can get for a different look. SO the outside is different but the main chassis ( that is near perfect ) stays the same. Though the idea of changing around what the chambers in my case does if your running liquid. ( Like moving the hard drive tray to a different chanber of the case for a 2nd radiator, or not. )  I will need to play around with airflow models and noise levels to see how I may want to do that.

Thanks clam! I use Google SketchUp for modelling and Kerkythea for rendering. If you are talking about the number of fans being loud, I would have to disagree. With water cooling, it's not necessary for the fans to run at a high speed. I have ten fans on my current water cooled rig connected to a fan controller. Most of the time I have the fans running at the lowest speed. This provides plenty of cooling and at this speed I can barely here them, just a whisper.  When I do have to max them out, the noise is still of a reasonable level, not what I would call loud......

Nice design and render....

If you don't I will come to your rescue, but only if you give me a decent fair split deal on the case sales you do. If you are stuck please consider or give feedback so we can get you running.

Mick, I have the money you need to build what ever you want done with this case trial production run or a one of trial run.. as long as its equal business for both, in a good split. I don't mind helping you out to get going, I strongly belie in what you have designed.

But if you don't reply, I cant help you or understand how to help this case of yours become a reality. I will let this post stay for about a week, I hope to hear from you in that time frame, If i don't hear from you in that timeframe I will after close this open door to you to get back to me. I do venture finance as a hobby beside my computer addiction from early age.

All the best to you if you have found other means and you are active and executing.

It's not all bad news though. I have got someone who may be able to get it into production, but it is still early days. I'm afraid the way things are at the moment, it wont be any time soon. Hopefully, in the not too distant future it may be available to order.

It's not just money that's the problem. As I said before, I haven't got the funds or resources to get this case built. That includes time! I'm a family man, and time is one recourse I get little of. I would love to take your money and get it built myself, but it's just not possible. However, there is someone who has said they will have a go at building it. They are busy with other projects at the moment, but I am optimistic that things will start happening soon.

Anyway, I did find a little time to create another render. This shows what the case would look like after increasing its size to accommodate the EVGA dual socket motherboard. There are now 10 PCI slots and an additional 5.25 drive bay. This render is only 70 passes though, so it's not as sharp as I would like, but it's not bad. Let me know what you think. I will try an do a couple more renders with a few more passes as soon as I can....

As we all want a Case and other things. IMO its best for EVGA to stick to what they do best. its easy for AutoCAD to render but to make one its a whole new story.

Actually, it's harder to CAD up the design than to CAM the toolpaths and CNC it. If I had a CATIA or SolidWorks assembly of that case I could bring it into FeatureCAM or MasterCAM and have the G-code done for it in less than a day easy and just 2 axis CNC waterjet most of it.

If someone sent me an unfolded nested layout in DXF for a 48x48" sheet I could cut it in the next few days on the waterjet. I don't have a press break to bend the sheetmetal though.

Personally, I think EVGA should stick to Motherboards and GPUs (and NICs?)...

As our good friend Napoleon Hill said: "The Jack of All Trades seldom is good at any.  Concentrate all of your efforts on one definite chief aim."

EVGA X58 SLI
Intel Core i7 920 (OC, 3.8GHz)
12GB RAM (3x 2GB Corsair, 3x 2GB Patriot) 1600MHz
EVGA 760GTX 2GB
Corsair 850W
Antec 900

Mick I think some one really wants that case!

Silent Attacker

if someone can build a design in AutoCAD, they can send that file to someone with a CNC machine for the detail work, then bend the ends over like a standard case design.

I might try to build a case eventually, but atm I have no time to do such a thing.

I've been dying on getting my hands on one of these I currently have four people looking for one. In Alabama, Chicago, Indiana, and Jersey hopefully someone can get me one.

If your local high school has a manufacturing shop they'd likely have one that you can use. I know mine does.

NZXT BETA

EVGA X58 SLI LE
Ultra 750 Watt

Corsair H50
Hitachi 1TB
