Evga hooked me up with a refurbished 759 Classified on r.m.a. several weeks ago, could'nt decide what to do with it, so I'll use it or  my new 760 as the backbone for this with my "old" CO 920...stable 3.8 at 1.34v -  I love my green main rig, but thought I'd try something in red!

Just a little taste for now...

with a little MDPC-X sleeving of course...

and the rest of the goodies...

gotta love Koolance quick disconnects!

just a sample...lots more sleeving to do, 480 and Koolance block (red led's) on their way! More fun lighting stuff coming, too!

That is the side panel and the inside is already black...looks sooo much better than a fan on the side...forgot...300gb Velociraptor, too! Really don't know what to do with this computer, I got a little out of hand, I guess I just should have tried to sell the m.b. by itself, instead I bought a whole new computer...doh!

Bought it on accident about a year ago, thought it had both ports on the same end, instead 1 port on each end...never used until this...going to do cpu, mb, and 1 gpu in same loop!

Awesome stuff.  Should be a fun build.  The only thing I would do away with is the Feser One coolant, and just run distilled H2O, but that's me.

One question:  How did you attach the quick disconnect to the EK MB block?  Can't quite see it in the pic, but it's an interesting idea and one that I would like to know more about.  Thanks!

I'm debating the liquid...I held the bottle inside my main rig for a quick check of illumination...NONE! U.v. red isn't glowing red?!? I don't know, maybe I just had too high of hopes with as bright as the acid green is!  Not sure if I'm using the quick disconnect where it's at...but this is what let me install it there (for the pics)... http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9503/koo-184/Koolance_QDC_High_Flow_No-Spill_Shutoff_Nozzle_Male_G14_Thread_VL3N-MG.html?tl=g30c405s1026 . Thanks for the info on dyed fluids, I've read alot of your posts discouraging it...obviously you've had bad experiences, so the jury is still out on if I'll use it, if it does'nt glow in the resevoir there certainly is'nt a reason!

Thanks for the link.  I'll have to look at those.

As for the coolant, I used the red and it stained my res permanently.  That's why I don't use it.  I've also see others that had problems inside their blocks because of it.  For the glow in the res you could just use some red LEDs to light it up.  Either way, it will look great IMO.

Can't wait to see more of this one.  You got some great stuff to play with there.  Good luck and congrats.

Hey YerBuddy, will these 2 products together be ok with distilled water? I know there's a wealth of info out there, but I ordered them already and wanted to try them instead of the Feser. Is this a total solution? Thanks in advance...doing a little leak testing now on my new loop...outside of case for once...distilled water only for now. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11744/ex-liq-154/IandH_Dead-Water_Copper_Sulfate_Biocidal_PC_Coolant_Additive.html?tl=g30c103s186  and   http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11441/ex-tub-705/IandH_Silver_KillCoils_-_Antimicrobial_999_Fine_Silver_Tubing_Reservoir_Strip.html?tl=g30c103s186

The copper sulfate is for coolant mix.  If you are just using distilled water then this PT Nuke PHN is recommended:

    http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/peptpcobi1.html

The silver coil you linked is the best solution for the antibacterial thing.  It will do the exact same thing that the chemicals will do, but without the chemicals.  The silver can be used from build to build as well.  Silver coil is easy to use as well.

Distilled water, as you probably already know, is much cheaper than coolants too.  I think you are doing well with testing outside the case.  It can pay dividends in the end.  Good job and good luck!

    Excellent pictures! Very jealous.

Pardon my "noobness" but is that padding in the case (around the mobo, sides, etc.) for sound dampening, insulation, or what? I really like the "look" of it, but not sure if it would really be applicable for anything other than a W/C build.

AcoustiPack sound dampening material / got it at Frozencpu for the look more than anything...Thanks about the pictures...took about an hour at all angles and then weeded out the bad ones!

Interesting, it does look extremely slick.
I don't want to necessarily paint the inside of my case black (although I kinda do, just seems time consuming! D: ) and the sound dampening looks easy enough.

Cut and glue? Or did you use some other type of adhesive?
Wonder if my temps would rise since I'm on air.. Hmm.

It's got a sticky back with pealable paper on it, make sure you measure twice and cut once, it's kind of expensive, and taking it off after applying probably would'nt go over well, I'd bet the sticky's only going to hold one time.

gl with your build but the 759/760 classified your goign to run into the same issue you had last time with the 24 pin cable burning off since the video cards suck up too much power though it... resulting in our mystery  infamous melt down that evga has ended the 760/759 because of.... and not saying a thing not even doing a recall...
