Nice job AB! Congrats. My ppd takes a dive . I have to shut down a few clients during the day now to keep temps halfway reasonable. My AC just doesn´t cut it with everything folding and the sun burning in

Great job! Maybe a long streak of bad WU's followed by a long streak of good ones.

My PPD went from 30K to 6K (today) so I don't really know what really is going on. One side of the 295 is at 99% utilization and the other shows a big fat 0 and when I look at the log it says that both are folding away. The system was setup and Ive been using FAH GPU Tracker V2 (currently at version 3.02) so I was thinking about deleting everything and restart from scratch. Comments? IC

I reported the same problem with ppd. My rig didn't fold for two days then only 1,400 the day after. My 24hr avg. was hovering around 4,700+ which sucks and now won't reach my 250,000 for the month that I was shooting for!

I usually average one 57k point Bigadv every 2.5 days... Fired up a second system two weeks ago... The last 24 hours looks sick!!!! One Bigadv done in 36 hours and the two GPU's are pushing 4500 every three hours vs the normal 1100...

I see you're still running VM Ware. Bigadv has been turned off for Linux for now. Win SMP now does -bigadv. I don't know if Stanford plans to get Linux back up and running and when that would be if they do.

AB, you can still use vm, but for the moment there are no bigadv for linux through your vm. So you´ll have to run the regular smp wu. Part of your jump for yesterday is related to that. You had one bigadv coming in, but instead of wandering off with another one, and not reporting back in for a few days,it got a normal wu and submitted it on the same day. If you want to continue folding bigadv you´ll have to use the win smp client as reported in here

Or just leave it until I try my hand at the Windows version? I do not want to go backwards with productivity of course Right now it looks like the four minutes is holding. That one above is already done and 9% complete on the next job... Thanks for your help!!!!

Unless you want to continue running bigadv, you can leave it at that and don´t have to change anything maybe one day bigadv will return to Linux and vms, but who knows Just keep it running for a few days and have a look what your ppd does (if you´re worried about that) The A3 bigadv are pretty similar in ppd to the regular A3, who have the advantage of being more flexible (esp now with the summer heat and storms) due to their shorter runnig time (3-4 days vs hours/1day max) edit: here´s 3 stock i7 950, one running the bigadv and 2 running regular A3s as you can see the ppd is very similar, of course ymmv
