Precision isn't picking up any usage from the 2nd GPU. The temp will go up and the client will begin to progress through the WU but it still sits at 0% usage. What could cause this and is it any cause for concern? Thanks, R3V

usually this means that both GPU's are folding on the same wu..
check your machine ID's and make sure they're not the same number

Nope id's are different. They don't have any change in the time between percents.

hmmm.. is HFM or Fahmon showing that they're working different wu's as well?
Other than that, try downloading the latest version of Precision, or re-install it.

If those things don't work, double check your client install set up. Make sure your shortcuts are pointing to the correct folders where the work files are, and that you made one for each GPU.  One folder should be GPU0 the other GPU1.

Also, make sure that you added the flags into the clients : "-gpu 0" and "-gpu 1"

Yep HFM currently has my 260 folding at 1:04 TPF and my second GPU (8800GT) at 1:22 So I don't think they are working on the same core. Will try and reinstall precision. Oh yeah...I do have the gpu 1 and gpu 0 flags on as well.

Same thing is happening to me with my 9800gt. I suspect it happened when I upgraded to 1.9.4. This has nothing to do with the folding clients... only with Precision. Even clearing the settings when I uninstall doesn't fix it. HFM says my PPD is fine. Unfortunately, I didn't save a copy of 1.9.3.

okay i got my second card to start folding what i did was

    1. open up the gpu1 folder in FAH GPU Tracker V2

    2. delete work folder, queeue.dat, unitinfo files, and all FahCore_xx

    3. close and reopen FAH GPU Tracker V2

    4. open the Multi-GPU Control

    5. execute GPU1

Note depending on which gpu is not folding ( could be gpu 2 , 3 , 4,...) do this to the cpu not folding. in my case it was my gpu1

Also Precision still isnt noting the usage of it just the temp increase. does not bother me because i know its 99% im just glad that my completion for that gpu fold is going up
