Not sure, it would be cool if someone at EVGA with a big of spare time could build us a more official EVGA vantage database, where we could just submit our system specs and a screenshot of the vantage run to it and it would auto update, and then we could filter the results ourselves, by CPU, Video card, overclock Ghz, physx on or off, etc. I know it would take a bit of work, and I'm sure the people at EVGA are very busy, but it would be cool to have one day maybe.

Ya we have mods rigs, but i was thinking more a database dedicated to Vantage, were we could all submit multiple scores, and actually filter out just scores based on system specs, etc. Basically what you can do on the ORB website, but one for us EVGA people, and also be able to sort it by number of video cards, which you cant do on ORB.

EVGA needs something better!

Fellow EVGA members, I have come up with a little something to track results for a given card. I've been doing some PHP side work and I came up with this GTX 260 OC database fairly quickly. I submitted my results to the Officical GTX 260 Single/Dual Vantage thread, but Talonman hasn't been on to update it. I think Talonman's method is excellent, but I think EVGA could have something much better to keep track of vantage scores for specific cards - You know, something to inform you what performance you should be getting in Vantage given what hardware you have. My GTX260 OC database is basically a "cloud" database so far - Anyone can access it, and anyone can submit their results. I did this in a short amount of time, so it's not amazing and it is a little sloppy. However, I believe you can see "where it can go". I think EVGA needs something like this for each individual card. Anyways - here is the link to the "Unofficial GTX 260 Single/Dual Vantage Scores Database" - http://skatebro.x10hosting.com/index.php Pictures of the "cloud" database are shown below. I'm running out of free time right now so I didn't fill in all the results that have been submitted (I did submit more of the dual results than the single). Feel free to add results of your own (please don't fill the database tables with useless crap - If you do it won't matter I've already backed up the entire database up to this point.) Tools used to create this - Netbeans (using PHP), PHPMyAdmin, MySQL, x10hosting (free webhost).

I was also thinking - I could implement a login page for EVGA forum mods - They could be the only ones allowed to insert the entries to the database. All users would have to do is post their config & their Vantage validation link - then the EVGA forum mod could make sure it is a legit score and then login to the database and add the entry to the database. I think it would be awesome if there were something like this for all cards. Any input / suggestions / comments / trolling will be appreciated.

baldee Nice........is there anyway to incorporate this into the forum? I think so somehow. I didn't put any fancy logos or designs in the current page. I just wanted core functionality real quick. It could be done much better. If EVGA would allow I could make a unique page for each card using logos, pictures, specs, etc. /edit Revision criterion is finicky, not working properly. Lots more can be done just short on time right now. College + Work results in limited time.
