I completed the installation of the thermal pads on my 1080 FTW the other day and compared tempertures before and after the mod and the difference is night and day.  Before the Thermal pads were applied when playing Titanfall 2 on a 4K display all max settings my tempertures were about 80-83 degrees celcius when on load and about 50 degrees when idling.  Applying the Thermal pads and playing the game my temperatures are about 38-43 degrees celcius marked improvement.  Can anyone else comment on temperatures they are getting now?  Thanks EVGA.... This clearly should not of been an issue but EVGA admitting their is a problem and providing a clear solution to their customers is greatly appreciated.
