So I have a 1080 SC and I'm not comfortable installing the thermal pad mod  myself so I'm considering doing an RMA to get a card with the thermal pad installed.  I was just was wondering how long does the RMA process take if you live in the US and are we guaranteed to get a card with the thermal pads installed?

Depends on where you live and how much you're willing to pay for shipping.

I shipped my card to them on Monday November 7th for about $20 at UPS in Washington State.
EVGA received my card in California on Thursday November 10th.
They shipped the card back to me on Monday November 14th.
I received the card on Thursday November 17th.

So the process took about 10 days for me.

I highly recommend just calling them over the phone to start the RMA. Only took me a few minutes. Overall it was all very well taken care of by EVGA.

I am in the exact same situation as you, but I am in Sweden.
I started the ticket 21 days ago and my Advanced RMA 18 days ago and it is still set as pending.
I do understand that because of the high pressure they are having at the moment, from people all over the world, wanting to send their cards in,
    its gonna take some time.

Im sure once the bulk of the rush they are in, has settled , they will be back on track
Just have to wait and see what the total time will be for me...

Because as a chef i know what being in the **** is all about when everyone comes at the same time (when youre NOT expecting it)
Allthough, that said, after a certain time you gotta get your act together and get the stuff out...or your customers will finally have enough, stand up and leave...and NOT come back,  :)
