Hi.

I bought an GTX1070 SC and made the BIOS update for the last version. Every time i play an heavy game, like DOOM, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and even with my prefered hobbie, Prepar3D, after 20 seconds my computer reboots. With other "soft" games it don't. I purchased my EVGA at 15-11-2016. In precison software i reduce the GPU clock about 200MHz, Agressive Fan Curve, i get about 55ºc /60ºc GPU temp in these games but it reboot my PC after 20 seconds.
Do you guys think the termal pads will solve this problem? Or i have to RMA my EVGA?

My PC Specs:

INTEL CORE I7 6700K 4GHZ 8 MB
Motherbard Asus Z170-A
CORSAIR PC4-21300 2666Mhz 16GB VENGEANCE LED WHITE CL16 (2X8GB) DDR4
SAMSUNG SERIES 950 PRO 256GB M.2
PSU LC8850 V2.2 Arkangel - Metatron Series 850W

Wouldn't be surprised if your psu was the cause of the issue. How old is your psu? Have you tried a different set of pci-e power cables to power the card? Have you tried moving the pci-e power cables to a different set of ports on the psu? The thermal pads will not fix the rebooting problem. You may want to test the card in another computer to verify the problem is indeed your psu. If you don't have another computer available to test the card in you could take it to your local computer repair shop to have it tested.

My PSU have about 5 years and never give me any problem. I have two PCI-e 6Pin Cable connect to the 8 pin adapter. I don't have any 8pin PCI-e cable. I don't know if this is the problem. I think i'll go to the store for them to try my EVGA and my PSU. The wierd thing is that i've try an GTX980Ti and don't have any kind of problem
