Hi

I own a FTW 1080 and ordered the thermal pads. I was reading that you also need to update the bios of the card. Saw some topics about the update of the 1070 but i'm kinda lost about the 1080. Can someone help me about that?

Thanks :)

I was hesitating beetween RMA and installing it myself tbh but I can"t afford to be without display even for a week right now. It does not look complicated to install apparently? And the bios flash, is it easy and safe?

If it's like most bios flashes I've done from windows, you run the .exe, and wait for a few minutes without doing anything else or turning off the computer. that's pretty much it. Basically the same thing as running any other program, just a lot more critical not to have a power-outage at the time.
