Tech question on my 1080SC ( converted to Hybrid)

Hi all, 
 I need some advice on the upcoming bios update for my 1080 SC card and also the application of the heat pads.
ok so my card is a (08G-P4-6183-KR)  EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC GAMING ACX 3.0
which I converted to hybrid cooling using this kit (400-HY-5188-B) HYBRID Water Cooler (All in One) for GTX 1080
So will I need to apply the BIOS update when available? because I'm not running on ACX 3.0 cooling anymore ?
and same question on the pads really.

    Since you converted the card to hybrid you won't need any pads or vbios update.
