Hi there,

I have a gtx960 SSC with 4gb of memory. the card works great until I start/restart the computer. I no longer see the bios start up check screen as I did with my previous card. Instead I see a black screen with "a2" in the lower right quadrant of the screen. It will sit on this screen for a good 60 seconds or so until finally booting the rest of the way.

There are no other issues that I have seen, shut down is still very quick. Is there a firmware update for this perhaps? I was hoping that the card might not like that I am connected to my monitor via a DVI to DVI cable? (monitor is a 17" 4:3 Samsung from 2004). I have yet to try an HDMI to HDMI connection, however I have doubts that this is really the issue. I have tried a DVI to HDMI connection to my tv with the same issue.

I have a 850W PS, 16gb ram, SSD, AMD 8150.

With my old card, an ancient 8800GTS, start up was a total of 15- 20 seconds or so. Now it is a good 90 seconds.

Thanks for any info.

Jamie

Clear the cmos on your motherboard then load optimized defaults. Hopefully that will fix it.
