Also please make sure that if you are running overclocks that you are not dropping units. This will hinder your ppd more than if you never OCed in the first place.

Edit: oh and it may be slight but points start collecting at the midnight update. So start folding before 11pm so you can get some units completed for the midnight update.

Only points completed after midnight will count, so shoot for landing them 12:01 AM, or maybe 12:05 if you want a little leeway.

I was half joking, half explaining how/when the points collection will start.  In reality its not worth the effort to mess around with the timing of your work units.

I've already started as I work way early tommorow. My overclock is solid at 2ghz for my 1080FTW. I ran that puppy for a week in July and it rocked. As long as my gpus temp stays under 68 degrees.

Rock on East Coast, I'm barely there as Indiana is quite close to Central.

Anyone want to send a friendly reminder to those on E/M that haven't shown any points yet?

I'm sorry to report my system has reached temp equilibrium, thud my 1080 is only clocking 1987Mhz down from 2025Mhz. Sadly when the GPU temp reaches 78 degrees the clocks drop. That pesky 970 just won't let it breathe as it stays toasty below 70 when it's running solo. 14 units turned in so far on the 1080FTW with 0 failed. The 970 turned in 6. I did have to start the running at 7:30pm 10/31 EST, so some of them might not have accrued to the challenge.

Should be a good challenge.

sounds to me like you need to swap positions. put the 1080 on bottom for maximum airflow and let the 970 thermal down a bit instead.

I might make that switch when my thermal pads get here. Might also buy some primo thermal compound at the same time.
