Hot!Warranty voided if we install thermal pads?

Hey guys,

just wanted to know if our warranty will be affected when we will install the thermal pads we ordered, since we will have to remove the cooler backplate to install them.

    From what I know EVGA is the only company that lets you remove the cooler and still have warranty. Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Removing the shroud to apply the thermal mod will not void your warranty.

    I'm not sure when we remove the cooler to install those thermal pads, will we cut any stickers during this procedure?

    As far as I'm aware there are no "Warranty Void if Removed" stickers or anything else preventing removal of the heatsink.

    The only stickers you'll find are warranty stickers and those are flush on the PCB which you want to keep intact.

    Otherwise there are no stickers or adhesives meant to block you from tearing the gpu down.

    Why should we have to install pads?  I'm thinking of RMA my card.  Bought mine in the UK from OCUK
