EVGA supernova 1000 G2 eco switch

Hi,
 
I recently got another Supernova 1000 G2 from Amazon. Strange thing was that this one actually had an eco switch in the back but my other one I got about a year ago does not. Also all pictures on the Amazon site show the older model without the eco switch. Can someone confirm that this is something that was added recently or did I get some weird mislabeled unit?

    I called a few times. Neither rep knew anything about it and were only able to confirm that its a real 1000g2 based on the serial number. Figured I'd check here in case someone purchased one recently.

    Same thing here. Got one at Microcenter and it has the eco switch.

    I just received my 1000w G2 as well and it has an eco switch. I am assuming there was a product update. I called support as well and the rep said he'd reach out to the Product team to verify there was an update. I'll update once I receive an update.
