Hey,
I had a problem with my first 1080 SC that had overheating problems (+87°C average), so I started an EAR (EVGA Advanced RMA) which gives you the ability to get the replacement card before you have to send the defective one (you pay the new card and get refunded when they receive the bad one).
The problem is that the 1080 SC I received seems to be also defective ... the fans are going nuts all the time (look at the screenshot).
I really don't know what to think about EVGA EU and the quality check ... :(
Of course I already reinstalled drivers with DDU, and downloaded latest ones from nvidia.com
I also have another problem with the RMA itself, so I paid the collateral, I received the replacement card (with fan problem) and now I have to send back my original 1080 sc, but where is the normally included UPS shipping paper ? and how do I have to package the card ? Original box ? With or without accessories and posters and stuffs ?
The first screen is when the card is on stock settings :

Now with custom fan profile from 0% until 50°C to 100% at 80°C and +70 on core
edit : same problem without afterburner, and same problem at fixed fan level
