Hey,

So i got myself the Classified K and 2x1070 FTW, im still waiting now for the HB bridge But i have setuped SLI today and i cant enable SLI in nvidia control panel. After some search around, is it true that i cant run SLI in 1st and 3rd slot combination? Only 1-2 slot for 2 cards?

I have tested did with normal bridges only, one from evga and later with an msi i had here. I didnt put the car into second slot yet as i think those card would be to close for such SLI combination. Just wondering so i know if there is some way.

I have the same board, but I am not running SLI. I can however confirm that you can only run SLI in slots 1 + 2. There is no way around this. Slot 1 and Slot 2 will run in 8x mode each. Slot 3 is only a 4x slot and therefore cannot be used for SLI (you may not even be able to use it for a GPU period). I have heard others complaining of the tight spacing of 1 + 2 as well.

Yeah, just searched alot around. To bad. Would be good to have 3rd slot as posibile. The card does work thought just no sli, will have to move it up than thought. But good that i know so i can buy the right SLI HB bridge.

    Alless,

If you haven't seen it already you might want to take a look at this post. This user suggests that putting two ACX cooler cards right next to each other isn't the best idea (unfortunately).

Yeah, thought i have nothing else right now and i dont want to change to other motherboard now, maybe next year to classified version or add hybrid cooling when available. I will have to use custom fan curve for now to cool them.
