Any word on when more of the Step-Up 1070 cards are going to be available? Both of them are out of stock and have been for over a month now.

I dont want to add myself the thermal pads for the vram overheating issue...
I have a 1070 SC, I dont have to be worried ? The issue is only for the FTW version ?

WOW... it's been about 4 months since the introduction o9f the Pascal 1080 and still little or no availability in the EVGA store..  What the heck guys?? once in a while the hybrids are available... but this is getting ridiculous.

Seriously guys... Is TSMC having production issues making 1080 chips?
There are quite a few 1070 and 1080 variations available from both Newegg and Amazon including stock on EVGA cards.
The EVGA site has nothing.....
I'm still waiting on my 1080 step-up......

Maybe they're too busy fixing all the cards, or are trying to fill orders for retailers. It's frustrating for sure.

I sent my 1070 FTW to the step up program a few weeks back, mine didn't have problems yet, and while googling the 1080 FTW I learned about them catching fire and failing. I called them this morning and they are installing thermal pads on every 1080/1070 video card coming out of the warehouse, which the guy on the phone said is directly slowing down their ability to ship. He said mine should be shipped this week, could arrive monday.

How long did you have to wait from the time you requested your stepup until they had you ship your 1070 back??

May I ask which 1080 you stepped up to? I have a 1070ftw and am thinking of doing the same, just not sure which one to get. Really want a 1080ftw, but see that is not a step up option.

Jacob, I'm sure your tired of hearing/answering this question. When can we expect to be able to buy any version of 1070, or 1080 from webstore? It seems like stock has gotten worse as time goes on. I do see that they are available retail, but I would love to use some of my EVGA bucks, you guys are so nice to give us. I also realize the thermal solution is having an impact. Do you have a general idea when we might see some stock?? Thank you.

jacob have a question i bought a new 1070 ftw from newegg the other day. it will be unopened. if it needs the thermal pad fix and all i can rma it but since it is brand new would i get a brand new one back?
