So I click the link a couple of hours later when I actually have the time to read the email. The card is not available. I guess new stocks sold out almost immediately. On a Sunday night. I sigh and put myself back on auto-notify.  I get the feeling this is going to go on for a while. Shame we can't just pay for the card now to get in line for delivery, rather than rely on being lucky enough to be able to log on at the precise moment more stock comes in. Also that would let the suppliers know how much stock they need... but hey, that would make too much sense right? lol.

I was on auto notify for the 980. Never got the email, unless your email was for the 970. (I just did auto notify again, just in case) ;)

W( O)(o )T!!! I checked my email and before I closed the application I checked once more and boom! there was the EVGA product notification email for the 980SC (non-ACX). I immediately went to the website here and yup, sure enough, AVAILABLE! I ordered 2 of them, plus a pretty EVGA bridge. I checked back on the EVGA 980 page once my order was complete, and they were all out of stock again. Less than 10 minutes from timestamp on email to stock completely drained again. Total luck just checking email at exactly the right moment. Yay!~  The 970SC (non-ACX) for my wife is already en route from Newegg.  Happiness filled. . Note: there's a bunch of 970 models available at EVGA right now...

When I signed up to be notified for a 770 classified backplate I did not get an email until about a week after I bought it. I set up auto notify but would check the store page regularly and happened to see it was in stock one day. After a week of owning the backplate and using it, I got my email.
TLDR: In my experience the notification s are delayed a lot. But I could be wrong about the new cards.

Yeah, I was on top of it as soon as I got the email but was all sold out as soon as I hit the finalize button... It wasn't even up for 3 minutes.

The 980 ACX2.0 SC gone in about 30 minutes....I wonder how many were actually sold in that amount of time? SIGH...always the bridesmaid but never the bride...
