GPUs with more memory tend not to overclock as well as their lower memory counterpart?

    I may be wrong but I think it has to address double the memory.

    many reasons my friend.
    but its electrical components doing their usual stuff. You could do an extensive read on Sedra and Smith but save your time and blame, Physics, Temperature, gates, blah, blah, blah, electron movement. lol
    In reality this is a very interesting topic but requires much knowledge of (Physics and IC's)

    Increased density means increased complexity which typically means lower overclocking.
