I figured it out!
leaving this for reference, since i couldnt find any solution using Google....
turned out that my user access was disrupted from drive. all I did was boot into safe mode and change the permissions.
google that , it should be reletively simple. just remember  to check apply permission for all files and folders before applying settings.

Hi all,
My primary back up raid 1 on my computer is not longer working.the raid volume shows up just fine under bios and intel IRST...
 
the drive has letter drivbe but is not accesble, diskmanger shows it being healthy...
But when looking at the array under properties it shows zero bytes for everything.
 
Not sure what to do,
IRST found no errors with the raid.
