I constantly think to myself: You know what this industry needs?  More scripted linear corridor FPS games to appeal to the dude-bro crowds.

Hey if its fun why not, dishonored rocked did it not? metro 2033 and last light is fun right? If they pull off a good fun game then why not so a new generation will show interest and what we know as Wolfenstein and Doom continue.

Those games also innovated in their own ways. I can't say for sure this game won't add something original, but strictly based off the footage they've shown it just looks like another stale shooter you get to play occasionally between cutscenes and scripted events.

But therein lies the problem: these aren't what we know as Wolfenstein and Doom.  They're the furthest thing from it.  If they pull off a fun game, more power to them, I just can't help but feel personally disappointed that these games are similar in name only and nothing else.  Sorry, I don't mean to be so negative it just sucks when companies cop-out the original classics to sell copies.

I don't see it being a hot seller. The best Wolfenstein game to date is Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

This game actually has a huge story with over an hour and a half of recorded mocap for the cut scenes and gameplay. They achieved this by putting all the work into single player, there is no MP. I don't remember the last time we had a huge single player story. The last one i played was half life 2, this game is much longer of a game than Hl2, and the story is also much more intriguing to me.

That's a throwback to 90's shooters.  ROTT was like that "Which Part's the Trigger?", Heretic was really hilarious "Thou Needest a Wet Nurse", or Doom's "I'm too Young to Die?"

I would probably say it rocks... if the damn thing loaded properly, instead of erred and threw me out of Steam. LMAO

Was really looking forward to this game, then searched briefly and heard about the bugs that plague it.

odd didn't have any issues started right up for me, but run my whole system at stock. Keeping a steady 80-100+ FPS but keep vsync on as well and has not dropped below 60.

This was the first game I've ever pre-ordered, and I will never make that mistake again.  I'm hoping a patch comes out within the next couple of days because I am barely able to run this at 45 fps on my rig.

I am guessing no SLI support yet, thus is your issue.
