Hello,
Can anyone tell me when this card will be available and where I can purchase the new 780 6GB card?
I'm looking to build a new PC and I'm waiting for this card and I won't be eligible for the step-up program due to my current cards are 3.5 years old. :)
Any info would be much appreciated.

    Right now you can only step up the 3gb 780 vanilla to the 6gb 780 vanilla via current promotion. When the regular purchases of 6gb cards are made available, they will be announced. You would just have to wait for Evga to announce any such purchase when they are ready. It's only a guessing game right now as to if and when it may happen.

    I got an email today regarding the step-up promotion. I just want to buy the 6gb card outright and don't want to buy a 3gb card and then have to be without a card while it is shipped, verified, and shipped back. Who do I need to talk to in order to accomplish this?

    Ok I can answer my own question now....lol
    The new 780 6gb cards were released yesterday and are already sold out!
    I sent in a request to be notified when they will be available.
    Hopefully soon because my new build is on hold until I can get this card. :(

    You can do advanced step up. Did you even read how step up works?

    Doh!  In no way do my 4 year old cards qualify for any type of step-up.
