After replacing that damned dell 24'' monitor with an Acer AHJ17 Crt,i noticed that SLI was disabled "is that normal?", i tried enabling it, it worked fine as it used to be, but suddenly the screen tinted to violet, after disabling SLI, the screen returned to normal, i went back to the nvidia CP, enabled SLI, the screen shook a little, but everything seemed alright, i started some benchmarks to both cards to make sure that everything is intact, all benchmarks went successful and not a single artifact was found, in one of the benchmarks i heard a weird boilingwater-ish sound, no weird odors, i'm pretty sure that my capacitors are fine, might be a coil whine "i've heard it once before, exactly 5 months ago", performance wasn't affected, i'm only concerned about my lovely gtx 780s, i think the soundcard "which is 3mm away from the 780's fan" directed the airflow in such a way to emit the whistle-ish boiling sound, not sure really, i tried many times to recreate the whole thing, but to no avail.
Googled about the purple tint issue, some forums hint to bad cables and/or pins.
