Hi everyone. I've got a fresh install of Windows 8.1 with a SLI setup. When i launch CS:GO, the screen flicks a lot, like if the two cards were not in sync. The image also get some colour glitch.

If i disable SLI, the game works fine, but i would like to use SLI.

Here is my setup:

AMD FX-8350
GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3
2x8GB Corsair Dominator 1600MHZ
2x EVGA GTX 560
Corsair H90 liquid cooler
AOC 21' Full HD (using DVI cable)
forceware 335.23

Anyone knows how to fix it? There is any more info i could provide for help?

Tks in advance.

    ChestermanBR,

Sorry about this issue with your video cards. Check your monitor's refresh rate, with SLI enabled anything above 120hz tends to cause erratic behavior such as what you are describing. If you are at or under 120hz refresh rate and you continue experiencing the same issue I would test with a different SLI bridge (depending on how you have your cards installed you can also use a 3 or 4 way bridge to test with). You can also try stress testing the cards with SLI enabled within a benchmark such as 3Dmark to see if you can recreate the problem and remove CS out of the equation as a potential game issue.

The first batch of EVGA Pro SLI Bridges are known to cause this issue if you are running 120Hz or above refresh rates.

Hi JoseR and Sajin, tks for your replies.

My monitor is running at 60Hz. It's the fastest refreshing rate it supports.

I'm installing other games to test it (already tested with some), and will try to stress test it also.

It is worth of trying change my SLI bridge?

    Tks in advance.

Yes, I would try another SLI bridge. I would also do a clean installation of the latest video drivers.

Perform a clean installation of video drivers.
    1. Download & save 337.50 driver to your desktop.
    2. Double click on 337.50-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-english-beta.exe located on your desktop & run the extractor.
    3. Select custom advanced install, under custom installation options uncheck all options but graphics driver & physx system software, if you are using audio over HDMI please select the HD Audio driver, if you have a 3D capable monitor and would like to use 3D at some point select the 3D Vision driver also, check mark perform clean install, then click next to install the driver, reboot when asked.

    Hi Sajin.

Installed the new driver and in nvidia control panel i changed the performance option to 'single screen' to counter-strike, instead of multiple screens.

    This solved the problem.

    Tks for all your attencion!
