Due to lack of resources.  Last tasks are going out Apr 30th and will be accepted until May 23rd of this year.

Sad to see crunching projects end like this.

That's a shame. I don't know about any one else but I am going to jump over to Docking and run it until the work is gone or until the Time Zone Challenge starts up. This will be our last chance to help out the project and get some points in the process. Maybe we can up our standings in team ranks for the Vault in the process.

Once the project is retired, won't it be removed from the vault sooner or later?

Probably, but from what I have seen of the Vaults staff that will take a while. Plus the project will still show up on the Free DC stats even if its inactive.

Yep, looked at ExSciTecH but do not see that it is a Crunching Project.

Ok so I just went to do a few tasks on docking@home and went to check the server status. When on that page it says I am logged in as Cancer_Research_Owosso  (not AlHo). I know they are on our team but I was just wondering if there was anything odd going on, what with the WCG stuff recently.

Hey its me...I don't post much on this site, but had the same thing happening to me too. I would go to check my status and it would have somebody else other then me logged in.  I would refresh my screen and my name would pop back where it should be. So be rest assured that I am not trying to hijack anybodies account. I can't recall whose name was up in the corner, but it definitely wasn't mine.

    bwahahahaha! the ultimate lurker!

Such a shame about Docking.  It was always a project that suffered from lack of funding and staff, but kept on plodding on, like an old dog that wouldn't lay down.
It's nice that they have made all their research results public, our efforts will not go to waste.  Hopefully someone in the future can put our work to use.
