I'll just leave this here.

It's not a driver fault.

It started doing this when I installed AoE2:HD when it was released and since then it has been bugging me. Some times the screen is OK, but 9 out of 10 times it does this. No errors or anything.

GPU is a Quadro NVS130M Mobile Graphics chip. The laptop is a Dell Latitude D630.

Help is appreciated.

I did not know if anything was being released that would run on XP anymore.  Perhaps just remove the install.

It's not about Windows XP support... can you tell me if there's something wrong with the GPU? It does this on POST and in the BIOS too.

Looks like the display connection may be loosening.  Try gently flexing the display from opposite corners while this is happening and see if that corrects the problem.  If so, you might want to either take it apart and reseat the flexi-cable.

Dell Latitude D630... Reseat your LCD Ribbon Cable else Check to see if the same thing happens on an external Monitor (with the (Laptop LCD Down)) end if it looks like the laptop LDC else the GPU is Bad end. Also the Dell Latitude D630 is known to overheat the GPU.
