If they can't figure out a way to track who plays and how long they play. You won't see it being part of the event.

Back in the day we use to do gaming event ran by EVGA*Bandit/EGC members.

wait are you saying they once had events that were about having fun not idling in an empty server for 2hrs so some random person who only came in to win something and who will never buy EVGA products or play on EVGA servers can win? That doesn't seem at all like EVGA.

Usually the servers aren't full until the last weekend of the event. Otherwise it's pretty random.

Been trying to join the CS:GO server, but there's two people in there (and only two others) that are vote-kicking the moment I get in there. I haven't even got to start a round before getting kicked.
So... if you care to know; they are keeping your server empty on this Sunday Afternoon.
UPDATE: They are gone, all good now.

Anyone that plays BF3/4 might want to make sure GameTracker logs all the time you have played before event is over.  (EVGA uses it to check how long you have played)

    Look at ManBearPig Time Played

Now look at online players for ManBearPig Time Played

I think GameTracker is having issues or is taking a very long time to update.

Click on View All Players & Stats at the bottom and enter soldier name to find out how long GT shows you have played.

You are talking about random giveaways we do sometimes.  For the big game events like this one, you just need to sign up and play for a chance to win.  Winners are chosen at random after the event from those who played.  You can do that here : http://www.evga.com/articles/00827/

    Thanks,

Looks like it just took forever for GameTracker to update for BF4.

I still notice a few names not showing up that played on the US BF3 Server. I know Pureluck was in US BF3 server or at least 2hrs but it doesn't show him on GameTracker at all.

No one is in there most likely because it is early on a weekday.  We had the server going last night.  Most of us don't get on until later in the day after work or school.

I'm in the Second Assault server right now trying to get it going.  There are only 3 of us in here right now, just need one more.

    Dumb question time:
Is it 2 hours total to get into prize level 3, or do we have to play 2 hours in one session?

2 hours total from all the servers.  You don't have to have all 2 hours from the same server all at the same time.  So you could play an hour in TF2, then an hour in BF4 and you would be eligible.

I would make sure you do 2hrs in one server just to make it easier for the person picking winners.

I'm surprised to see other members stepping up to get the servers going. Guess evga mentioning a rewards program for admins is making them care a bit more.

EVGA needs to make a service that says how many hours you played, I don't really like any of these game types, and don't game much so I think last time I ended up only playing for 45minuites.

    I  wish I could afford a 970

It's a GAMING event... Where you play games.  What did you expect??

To answer your question, you can check time played in both Gametracker and HLStats.

Maybe a server with a player or two, full suite of game types, better ping, less restarts

Or you could have my problem where you cant get any time on the server because gametracker doesn't track any time played unless you get a kill. Well you cant get a kill if there is less than 4 people in the server because in BF3 there is no scoring when there is less than 4 people in the server. Been in there for well over 2 hours and gametracker doesn't even say I was in there. So basically playing BF3 is a complete waist of time. So now i have to go and play TF2 but even then there isn't that many people playing that either.

To get that you actually have to have a community that cares, which EVGA doesn't have much of anymore.  Also some games don't allow player tracking which makes it kind of hard to see who played vs who didn't.  All servers are centrally located in the US between Chicago and Dallas, with an EU server or two.

So you do like everyone else, get your two hours and roll.

I have my 2hrs in. The only bad part is the signup page will not send me a confirmation email saying i signed up. Don't know if I'm on a block list or evga mail system ate my email.

I would download pbsetup and place it inside a empty folder and run it.

Good lucky finding anyone on the US BF3 servers. Probably have better luck catching people on the EU server.
