Why in first mission i have sometimes dips to 39 fps from 60 fps. I dont understand. I am using 1920x1080 , V.HIGH + VSYNC OFF and FXAA.
Is that something broken or what?
I have 780 Asus , I7 3770 K 3.5 , 8gb ram ,  331.85 WHQL, Win 7

I have see in youtube movies that many peoples have 60 fps on that card ( GTX 780 ) in that lvl and on the same details.

Can somebody tells me? Why this guy have 60+fps always on the same machine like me? He using the same details like me.

crysis and all other games to a certain extent will have frame drops. There are certain points that wil stutter momentarily. Its not your card or your system more than likely. Crysis 3 has crappy slow downs.

When i go forward to certain spot then fps going down to 39 fps from 60 fps and stay. But when i turn back and again go to the same spot, fps again turn to 39 fps and back to 60 fps.

ok that one spot is glitched or more taxing than others.

Go into the BIOs of your motherboard. There should be a setting you can make which will prevent the CPU from idling at 3.4GHZ or downclocking. Then see if your framerates are higher.

Perhaps but I'm trying to help you troubleshoot so give it a try. Maybe your CPU is trying to downclock during certain portions of the game and if so that will lower your GPU framerates.

Just about everyone has drops in that spot. It was noted long ago when Crysis 3 was released. It was even worse prior to the game being patched.  Is that the only section of the game you're going to play?

    hi litwicki

i had the same problems you are having. i played the game several time now and have found a good balance for 60+ fps.
i give you my settings and the graphicsdriver i use..
for graphicsdriver i use a modded one from tweakforce 332.21 (do the nvidia gamesettings for better preformance)
    settings
open controlpanel go to manage 3d setting use tab program settings and set  power management to maximum preformance.

    next ingame settings

    graphics setting
    190-1080,,fullscreen set to yes,,antialiasing disabled,,tex res high,,v-sync no,,system spec custom,,

    advance settings
    game affect very high,,objects high,,partical high,,post pros very high,,shadows high,,water high,,anistr.fillter 16x(for better preformance use 8 or 4) motion blur off,,lens flare yes.

this give me on my machine 75+ on most times and some drops to 60 in very busy parts of the game.. try it out.

ive you want any better preformance  overclock your cpu to 4 ghz it helps a bit.

good luck m8 let me know how it goes

I noticed several drops down to the mid 40's in FPS. So he doesn't  have 60+ FPS all the time.  The minor difference might be that he's running his processor and/or GPU overclocked.

The important thing is that the game is very stable and playable. Minor dips might happen.

If you want to play Crysis 3 with dips that stay around 40-60fps and not drop down into the 20/30 fps range your gonna need a pair of 780's at the very least.

I don't think you're going to get a different answer asking the same questions. It's been answered repeatedly. Asking about a different area of the game doing the same thing is going to result in the same answer: Yes.

The first mission in Crysis 3 is the most demanding one on your system. It is caused by all the weather effects mainly it is completely normal, even with my GTX 780 SC ACX I experience the same thing.

Can somebody check with 780 GTX that place ( i mean exactly the same place )? I am getting 38 fps with V.HIGH + FXAA only and 1920x1080. Is this because of non oc 3770K 3.5 ?
