I had plans to wait until Mid-2014 and buy a car worth a maximum of $20,000.

I failed both of those limits.

I didn't think I'd like a Kia so much like I do this one, The moment I test drove it, I fell in love! We were originally there for a friend, As he was looking to purchase one, However things didn't go as planned when I found myself signing on a car of my own.

It's a 2014 Kia Optima SXL, Fully loaded. It's Turbo'd, So it's way faster than my 2007 Mustang was.

It comes with a BUNCH of features. I just love this car so much!

Very nice!!! Dude I must say I am sooo surprised on how much Kia improved. I used to hate the crap out of them. But I think Kia deserves the company of year for the most improvement. I actually drove your car as well and boy it was great especially it being a Kia. So smooth, and very roomy. For an everyday car I have to have a roomy car because I drive like a lazy person. I am surprised on how"luxury" the brand has come too. I next want to test drive a Kia cadenza which is Kia's flag ship car.  If you dont mind me asking what was the price of your car as well as your monthly payments for how many years as well as your interest? Also do you get any extra goodies to your deal like a year of extended warranty with no deductible, free state inspections, free dent pop outs/rim replacement, a extra electronic key, 5-10 free oil changes ect..? The Kia optimas that I seen dealerships in my area fully loaded was for $37,000. Make sure you keep that thing clean!! It looks great man I would hate for it to get all dirty.

It's a $41,000 Lease to buy. (48 months lease, only need to pay 47 of them)

I'm going to be paying $699 monthly and I gave 0 down. It was 0% APR, I got the 0 Down 0 APR 0 First month payment.

The price was to be $720 monthly, But I asked if they could do $700 even and they dropped it down to $699. I really love this car! I was looking at the Kia Cadenza, It's pretty much the same thing except the body is a bit longer. I did get an extra electronic key worth like $300 =P I love the push to start feature! They're only doing the first 6 months of service (Which is like 1 oil change, lol). I only get 12,000 miles per year, But I only put like 20,000 miles on my Mustang in 2.5 years, So I'll be fine. Also, I agree about Kia, Like I said before I never thought I'd own a Kia. I was really looking forward to buying a challenger R/T and with the price I'm paying for the kia, I would've got the lowest of the V8 challengers anyways =P

I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to keep the car after the lease is over, I might return it and get a different lease.

Kia has done some great things.  They have gotten some design help from Ferrari and BMW.  There quality has steadily been improving over the years.  Based on your pictures, it looks like they have done a nice job on their interiors.  Although I am not found of leases, this sounds good.  The thing to watch with a lease is the residual value and the mileage rate for miles you drive over the included mileage.  If you can stay under the mileage, you should be fine.  I drive too much to lease, so the economics for me, with even your deal, would not be good.  I just find it amazing that Kia, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Chevy and others have the average price of car at $40,000.  It was no that long ago you could buy a new car for $10,000.  This amazes me.  Wonder when this will stop, as my salary since then has not gone up 400% and neither has the UAW's.  Looks like you made a good choice.

I really like the looks of the Optima as well. They're pretty striking cars, especially in white with black trim. The turbo makes around 270HP, correct?

And those seats and door inserts...wow lol. Big pimpin. Looks straight outta the 70's.

Well since you said your leasing it, you dont actually own the car your basically borrowing it. Now since your leasing it that is BOY that is one hell of a monthly payment brother. I hope your not screwing yourself over with a monthly payment for a vehicle like that. If it was a sports car I understand because your young(me too). Now for me the push to start feature was kind of stupid. Its a useless feature imo that adds extra work for nothing to start your car. Also you know how you can walk up to your car and unlock it with the key fob in your pocket, but my question is what do you do when you cars battery is dead or if your key fob's battery is dead? How do you unlock your car with a key fob that has no actually key leg on it? Usually cars with a key fob like that have no actually key holes in the door handles. Also 12,000 miles per year thing is the industries average of how much a person drives a year so its typical you get only 12,000 miles. I generally drive about 5,800-7200 a year. Maybe you should of actually bought the car and traded in your mustang to put a down payment to make your monthly payments a little less expensive. You said your car is faster than it so LOL ya why not. But I can of get a idea on how much you love your mustang based on your past posts about it. Boy I sure do love my Cobra with all my heart lol.

Looks nice, Rush.  While I haven't looked at a Kia in a very long time, I agree that it appears they have come quite a ways from where I remember them.  Good luck and enjoy!

If you think push to start is useless, you're not the target market for that feature. To me the feature is worth 110%. I usually have my left pocket stuffed with keys and other things, not having to remove them, to get in and start the car reduces the time it takes to do that completely. Especially if I am wearing a jacket, tighter pants, etc.

As for the keyfob, every fob has a key built inside of it, and a keyhole in the car tucked away. So yes, I can turn the engine over anyway. However, a 700 dollar monthly payment on something you don't even own equity in, is just insane especially when you considered a 20k car previously. Heck that's 100 bucks less than my monthly rent.

Yes, I realize $700 is a high payment for a car I' won't own, However I loved the car and it's going to be worth it in my books, There's always that someone that says "It's still a Kia", Like my cousin she said she wouldn't pay $40,000 on a Kia... I guess everyone is different. Heck, I was really considering $60,000 on the Kia K900. Full luxury vehicle, Over a BMW, Mercedez, Cadillac, etc.

But I'm done, Anyways about it not being my car, I'm going to add a loud ass sound system (Voids the Factory stereo warranty, But it's all good) then keep it when I return it I'll lease whatever is popular at that time to please the crowds, eh? =P

P.S. Holo is right! The controller has a button in the back, A key slides out when you press that button. (Like the keychain part detaches and a key is attached there)

That is a nice car. My only complaint about it is the GPS which I thought was lousy. Better to buy a TomTom and use that.

It was all you posted about when getting your next car. I like seeing people achieve their goals. Challengers are more rare to see then a KIA Optima, there is something about driving a car that you don't see on the road as you drive yours that makes it more special.

In los Angeles a challenger wouldn't be that special, I see about 15 different ones each day. Same goes for chargers and mustangs lol!

Glad to see you got a KIA Optima and you're happy with it.

WOW! That is a nice car but man that payment is wack for a lease. I could go lease a 2014 Audi S4 with a supercharged v6 for $500/month with $5000 trade in of my current 2007 Hyundai Sonata V-6. Heck, I can go lease a 2014 Audi A4 for $336/month with only $3000 down, so my trade would give me $2000 OTD to spend on an APR tuning upgrade for $600 and get me 300bhp to the wheels in a Quattro.

Enjoy your new ride though. It is super sweet!

Not sure if I could handle that monthly just yet xP but it appears to be a nice car, they sure have come a long way.
I'm really considering another car this year, the question is how much can I save up for the cause lols.

For that much money, it should come equipped with an "Auto Pilot" button.

The car is nice. I am happy for Rush. The payment for a lease just seems really off though, especially a 2014 model with no money down. Most leases have down payments.

BTW, for $10,000 less you could have got a 2014 Hyundai Sonata 2.0 turbo( same engine/performance) fully loaded with every accessory.

You ever been in an STI or an Evo?

That was obviously a joke, but what's not a joke is the fact that both have terrible interiors. The Optima is FAR nicer in the cockpit than either of those two, by a light year. You should know more than anyone here.
