So I got my hands on two Titans used (yay, applause).  They came with the ACX coolers and backplates.

Question about the backplates: they don't touch most of the memory on the back of the card; so, I am installing larger thermal pads for the back of the card under the backplate.

Also, per this image below the VRM area gets extremely hot when overclocking.

So, my question on warranty... The EVGA Serial Number is smack dab in the middle of that VRM area (where it says 89.8).

Is it ok to partially remove the stickers to install thermal pads that touch this VRM area and make contact with the backplate?

Edit: Ok, I kind of did it already... Did I just void my warranty?

I don't plan on removing the entire sticker.  More of just folding it over on top of itself.

its fine as long as you put it back if/when you ever need to RMA.
