So I know no water blocks are made or in plan for being made due to the custom PCB of this GPU, but is there ever going to eventually be any waterblocks available for this product? I mean every other high end GPU has water blocks designed for them other than this one.

Very little chance of an actual full cover waterblock being produced for this card. Your best bet is to go with something like this.

Wait...there's no water-block from EVGA that is compatible with the "FTW' edition?? Are you kidding me I was legit just looking to buy one.
How is they have compatible water-blocks for all their cards, except the "FTW" edition card??

The FTW is a custom design PCB, so waterblocks designed for standard GTX 780 won't fit the FTW. You can always slap on a universal GPU block on it, like the EK Supremacy.

    Watercooling loop: Heatkiller CPU - EK 1080 Ti - Swiftech MCP 655 with EK X-Top v2 - XSPC reservoir - Alphacool 480 x2

Correct, the FTW is a custom PCB design so none of the current water blocks will fit. It costs a bit of money for a manufacture to design and produce a water block and since EVGA does not sell a crud load of FTW cards, there is no money in it to produce a water block for it. That is why the vast majority of water blocks out there are for the "reference" design boards.

    Bleh, disappointing for me :(

Maybe I'll just step up to the Ti and water cool those.....

Can you Step up to the reference Ti, and buy the separate ACX cooler for them??

You could do that but if you're going to watercool them, why would you buy the ACX cooler?

Honestly I prob won't water-cool.  But If I do step-up I'll def. want to add the ACX cooler (even though I've heard reference design is better for SLI)
So where can I buy the ACX cooler separate for the Ti?

Ah I see. Yeah in most cases the reference cooling is better suited for SLI, because of the low space in between the cards. If your mobo can accommodate SLI in PCIe slots 1-3 or 1-4. The ACX would work great as well. Of course proper airflow is advised in both cases.

At the moment the plate is only for the Titan and out of stock, but if they get it in stock in the future i think they will offer more plate options, including the Ti. ACX

By plate you mean the ACX cooler?

Too bad I can't just step up to the Ti ACX super-clocked right now, i'd just do it and mo money for EVGA.  :)

That would have been something but for whatever reason EVGA doesn't do it. At least not yet.

Yea I kind of regret buying the 780 FTW.. They should really make a water block for it due to the massive sale on this card that was happening last week, I'm sure that there are quite a lot of 780 FTW users now..

So.....will they or will they not make the ACX cooler for the 780 Ti purchasable as a separate piece?  I just want to know if I get the reference card, can I install the ACX cooler myself..

    Thanks,

I don't think you can fit the ACX cooler that they are selling now on to the 780 Ti. The VRM area has different layout than the 780. But who knows, maybe they'll start selling the ACX cooler that is on the 780 Ti soon.

What sucks even more is that they are not going to release a 780 ti FTW version. So there's even little hope of a water block for the 780 FTW. Looks like EVGA is losing interest in the FTW line. My box has a sticker for the FTW logo. As my GPU.

Dunno, that's why I bolded some words in my reply. You guys can get in touch with CS and see what they say. If enough people (to justify the expenses) with reference 780 Ti show interest to buy an ACX separately, they will make it.

Yeah, I kind of regret purchasing the FTW edition 780. Wish I had done some more research...Hopefully somewhere down the line someone will make a block for it. And if you don't have the lifetime warranty you only have fourteen days to step-up. I was planning on an SLI of two 780's but if I cant watercool them I'm not too sure if I wanna SLI those two cards the heat output would be ridiculous. And universal waterblocks are hideous, maybe if there were a single heatsink for all the RAM and everything rather than just single RAM heatsinks I would consider that route but the only company that makes those is swiftech and the latest card I saw was like a 560...Kind of kicking myself, I was so close to just getting reference but figured for 30 extra bucks go for a OC'd card and get more for my money...Such a fool decision...
