    updated to 2.01
Goes straight to FF (No Post) with a 4930K installed.
Works with the 3820 but not a 4930K.

    Update:
Noticed I was still on 47.
Flashed again and all is well.

Can any report lower vcores for OC yet? 4.6ghz on bios 47 i have to use at least 1.41 vcore to get 4.6ghz on a 3930k

I really hope this bios is a game changer for this old board.

Just installed the new bios 2.01 and noticed I can't set my 2nd PCI-e slot to run at 16x as I used to do with previous bios 47.

Am I missing something in new bios settings? I can only see options to set GEN1, GEN2 or GEN3.

Other than that everything is working fine. Thank you for the update!

No that's incorrect Bud - in fact I was still on Bios 44 as 47 had the idling cpu usage issue for me - I posted this previously.  Can't really say much beyond that (I realize this release was for IB-E) other than the Bios is pretty now.  I know that was a big issue for some people, they wanted a pretty bios instead of text.

My SoundBlaster card stopped working after upgrading. Does anyone know if there is any option that I may have wrong? The card is in the 4th PCIe port. It is a SoundBlaster XFi Titanium HD.

I'll try switching the 780 to slot 2 and see what happens.

If you click on the Auto setting in the that section, you can set the ratio of slot 1&2 for 16X or 8+8X.

Thanks MhzManic but I can only see 2 options as seem on screenshots below

Using previous .47 bios I had all those options you listed but as you can see, they disappeared in bios v2.01

You may need to move that card down to slot 4 /5 area like mine to keep both at 16X.

Not sure why that page is limited on options as compared to mine, what CPU do you have?

Well, might do that if I can get a longer CF bridge. Just found odd that previous bios allowed setting 2nd PCI-e slot to run at x16 but not anymore.

Do you have a SLI or FTW model? Mine is the SLI one.

After update to 2.01 my seperate USB 3.0 Hub don´t work at startup. i only  get a black screen after bios screen and BEFORE booting to windows. Even if nothing is connected to the HUB.

If i disconnect the hub and wait until windows starts, everything works fine if i connect the hub then. Before the Bios Update, the Hub works normal.

    I'm using a 3930K.

Holy Cow! This Bios woks on an SLI, I thought it was only for FTW (which I have) !

But this thread is about the SLI bios :P

Yes I just realized that the SLI bios was out; was not paying attention when I opened the thread.

I was thinking it was the FTW thread. Still does not make sense why it works in the old bios files.

That is me in the picture, anyone else ever pet a live Lion?

Regarding those PCI-e options, what you're seeing at your FTW bios is probably what we, SLI users, should be seeing too.

Would be nice to hear from EVGA folks what's going on. Why those PCI-e related options did disappear from SLI bios?

Nice new GUI, but it doesn't report CPU temps correctly and the fan speed reporting is bugged. Not sure if this will be fixed in later versions. It also seems to not like my processor at all, an i7 3820. It took me about an hour to play with memory settings to even get a stable boot to Windows, and I never did get a stable Prime 95 launch. Also, at random instances, usually every other instance, the mouse movement is very laggy or unresponsive at all. Sometimes, when changing certain settings, the screen would freeze, requiring a full power down in order to restart correctly [otherwise, it'd throw a B2 error, which happens anyway since I keep my video cards slightly overclocked.]

I'll stay with version 45 for now, as I have had the best results from that version so far.

I'm planning to get another 2 video cards and without the option to set the 2nd slot at full x16 PCI-e 3.0 is not a good thing at all.

Edit: sorry, I didn't realize there was a new thread about new version 2.03 for the X79 SLI motherboard.
