Hey,

I finaly finsihed some project I;ve bin working on and time for some bf4. But got a bit of a disappointment to tell the truth.
WIth my config in Surround mode, 4-way Titan SC SLI there is a LOT of stuttering. Even changing video to medium or even low doesn't help a lot with that part.
In single display mode SLI on v-sync off there is 120-150 FPS rate (2550x1440 resolution, all ULTRA)
As soon as Surround active nothing helps is stutter like crazy and it is really really annoying.

Anyone have any ideas? Btw I've got latest 331.65 drivers and also that EVGA SLI enhance installed.
Short config so you don't need to click on mods:
i7 3930K @3.8Ghz (having some issues going with 4.5GHz, above that crashing all the time, using XMP mode instead)
32 GB Kingston Beast 1866MHz
4x EVGA Titan SC SLI enabled
3x dell ultrasharp 27" in surround

Thanks

    I have a 660 Ti OC and steady 85-95 FPS in "High"-mode. (1920x1080)
I also had problem with FPS drops and stuttering.

What helped me whas to go in to "programs and features" and uninstall EVERYTHING that have nvidia on it, and then install 331.65 -custom installation with the box Clean-installation checked.

    That did it for me.

(i have read about some filesweep programs to really do a Clean installation but i also read about problems with that, in some cases windows wont start afterward)

oh i thing more, when i did the clean installation again i unchecked the installation of audio and other stuff, so you just have the drivers and physx. Ive read about it and it works for a lot of people.

To see if it will work better to isolate the problem so you can understand whats happening.

forgot to say, ive reduced motion blur to 0%.
And on ultra settings i have around 53 FPS with drops to 35.

ive had the problem in BF3 once and only got 60FPS, it was that other program "what its name" that comes with evgas nvidia drivers, monitor something. i uninstalled that and Everything worked perfect.

I had a few stutters on a full 48 pplz server on Zavod 311, GTX860 vanilla, 1200P everything ULTRA with 2 X MSAA....It was fluid for about an hour then a few little microstutters...

I had a lot of textures glitches ONLY on the Golmud Railway map, where I could see the squares of the texture grid, with a shimmering effect...on other maps nothing...I'm running 331.62

There's a new SLI enhancement patch out? Because if the SLI enhancement patch is older than the new drivers, that could cause the problem.

Nvidia 331.65 WHQL contains the latest updated SLI profile for BF4
Do NOT use -any- SLI "enhancement" patches of ANY KIND -period-

    -----------------------------
The first thing to do (if its installed)
Uninstall Precision and make SURE to answer -NO- when asked to save data and profiles
    Reboot

MANUALLY download 331.65 from here http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us to your Desktop
Use ONLY "CUSTOM" mode and UNCHECK -ALL- Nvidia driver components "except" for Graphics driver and PhysX
Make SURE you put a check box in "perform a Clean install"
After the driver install is complete, REBOOT the computer once
*the above is covered here in my Nvidia guide http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/1776355

Now leave the NVCP Manage 3DSettings panel completely at DEFAULTS (make no changes)
Just setup your monitor settings and nothing else
    REBOOT

    After rebooting launch BF4
Use -ALL- of the following settings (both panels) shown below -EXACTLY- as posted
*all of them not just the ones highlighted

After making the above changes, SAVE THEM
    Then QUIT the game
    then CLOSE Battlelog
then CLOSE -and- then EXIT Origin
*this MUST be done so that the settings changes will correctly take effect

Now relaunch BF4 and go and test

did everything as suggested.. full cleared removed .. same thing stuttering a LOT.....
again with resolution lowered to size of single screen... 2550x1440 all smooth as butter.. but surround... I don;t think taht should be a problem for 4way titan sc sli??
especially when in beta I had it in multiplayer normal at 60fps

    1-PSU-?
    2-Temps of video cards?
3-Turn off any PCIE power management options from control panel. In the nVIDIA control for power management, set to "Prefer Maximum Performance" for the BF4 profile.
    4-Set max # pre-rendered frames to 1.

    How does it work, now?

psu 1500W more than enough, temperatures near 80 bt not at between 70-76 on 4 of them

did those changes as well prefer maxp  performance an dmax prerender frames as well..
    absolutly same thing.
I see a LTO of poeple on bf4 having sameissues as well. looks like BF4 thing :(

worse thing in beta it was working waaay better

now testing in that test range alone so no people nothing still huge stuttering. vsync on off doesn't matter.
only playing on single screen :(

Have you tried forcing x86/32-Bit mode? I notice it runs MUCH better in that mode. Also, I turn off the MSAA (2x/4x) option and it runs better as well.

I just went into bios to try one more option, disabling hyperthreading as a lot of guys on bf4 forum said it helps well why no tot try that.. but there I;ve notice that my MBO is at 66 degrees??
that can;t be right ... right??

    edit:
btw hyper threading didn't change anything so I guess it is just single screen and wait for next update... damn

OR, try downloading ProcessLasso, try multiple profiles. If it's a CPU thing, ProcessLasso will be a better option than force-disabling Hyperthreading.

Try disabling core parking. I downloaded Park Control, clicked one thing, and it fixed my stuttering in bf4. The reason people say disabling HT fixes it is because when you disable HT, core parking doesnt happen, because there is only 4 cores

did that too, unpark all.. still no luck so far tried everything from all forums and same thing. in 2550x1440 resolution all fine in test range up to 200 fps... in surround.. stutter like a hell.
another thing I;ve noticed so far only after bf4 play my MBO goes up to 65-66 degrees Celsius. that is not good as well.
didn't notice that with gw2 fore example.

    small update...

    upgraded to win 8.1
    driver reinstall
    update punkbuster
    installed directx from origin folder

not sure which one of those did anything but at the end it looks to me that turning of all anti aliasing helped.. so there is just a bit of stutter now but mostly keeping steady and 55-60 fps
And limited fps with config file as well and vsync on.
Still hoping for some nice patch nvidia and /or bf4 to play in full glory. These 4 titans should be able to push it right? :)

I also another fix posted regarding updating .net framework to version 4.5. After doing this it helped and was able to play the game but Dice has stated they are aware of the issues and are in the process of patching

    Start GPU-Z.
    Click on the 'Sensors' tab.
Check the 'Continue refreshing this screen while GPU-Z is in the background'.
Play the game and make sure it is stuttering.
Switch back to GPU-Z (Alt+Tab if it won't cause your game to crash or close the game otherwise).
Post a screenshot of the GPU-Z sensor data here.

    Thanks!
