So I got an Sli bridge for cheap with a purchase from a fellow Evga member. Then I saw his post about changing the color of the lights. Well, those of us without 700 series cards would also like lights to work! I got to thinking and came up with this.

Tailed wire or any other color for sale at same location or other favorite retailer.

I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OUTCOME FROM FOLLOWING THIS GUIDE.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

Step 1 : Take out 2 screws on back of Sli bridge.
Step 2 : Make a small notch in platic Sli casing, big enough for wire to pass through without cutting it.
Step 3 : Insert led behind "EVGA" logo with wire running through notch and reinstall Sli bridge and 2 screws.
Step 4 : Plug into motherboard and reinstall onto video cards.
Step 5 : Enjoy!

Nice.  Well done.  I've been thinking about picking up one of these bridges (I run 580's) but have been hesitant because of the bridge not lighting up.  Problem solved!  Thanks for sharing.

With this and the post i replied to earlier. I wonder if evga will make a line up of sli bridges that gives people more choices of designs and what not such as textures, lighting, and w/e else they can think of, maybe even custom made sli bridges. I know they aren't very expensive but I am sure they make a good amount of money off sli bridges alone.

Neatly done raw2dogmeat , Only it would of been more handy to have made more pics, also showing what you exactly have done to the insides, for me it isn't clear enough.

You could of made a clear photo of that notch you made, thereby without damaging the astic or the wire that runs through them.
Also a clear photo showing how you placed the new leds behind the EVGA logo, this way it's more detailed and much easier to follow
And you also have a much more detailed breakdown of this SLI Bridge alike

    Perfect
Now what I'd do is add these pics to the first post, so you have a neat complete guide on how to do this with the perfect details, as all your pics go alike

if you can find out what two pins control the LED lighting, you may be able to solder in a power connection and light it up that way as well. dont know if that would cause a back feed effect on the GPU though.

need to know what led's are using , or simple use color film to change color

on 700 series OK,  note for others need to add a led from molex to light up logo also need to add resistor on led
