A member at XS named Movieman got a surprise gift from Shamino:

Thread and rest of pics can be found here:  http://www.xtremesystems....howthread.php?t=246135

Movieman states"With many Thanks to Peter Tan(Shamino) from EVGA here is what I think is one of the first EVGA W555 boards in the country and I should mention it's a pre release board so don't hold them to the final looking just like this."

Actually, he folds.  I doubt he will do any extreme cooling on it, but he may.  His main goal is to get it up and running for folding.  I am glad to see him get this board, he does a lot for the community, both at XS and elsewhere, so if anyone deserved it he does.  Anyway, just from first impressions on the XS thread I would imagine this will be a beast overclocking, but I am not sure if it will break any WR's due to the restrictions placed on it by the specifications that make it actually work, if that makes sense.  :D

I think I was as much in surprise and shock as anyone about this.
As to why I think I know.
I think that for many years Peter has heard this old fart biatching in the XS forum about why none of these companies didn't make an overclockable dualie and then when the dual 1366 came out I got into it again in the forum with Francois Piednoel from Intel.
I saw the potential in these the first time I saw one put in a single socket board for dual socket systems but it needed someone with the determination and to be blunt the balls to make it happen.
It also needed someone who looked at problems and instead of saying "We can't" said "We can" and that is Peter.
Just from one too short meeting in Las Vegas in January I found that everything I'd heard about him was true.
Open, friendly, humble and then watching him work later that night I saw the intensity in his eyes.
I'm 58, been around the track a few times, worked at the corporate and at blue collar levels and met lots of people in my time but Peter is one of those special people you meet once in a great while.
While this board and the gift of it is something I won't forget , the time spent when I met him in Las Vegas was the greater gift.
Thank you Peter and my Thanks to EVGA for having the forsight to see the potential in this board.

Imagine what the chipset waterblock for that thing will look like...

It'll probably weigh more than the board itself.

    Main Rig:
    Intel i7 920 [C0] @ 3.82Ghz | EVGA X58 [759] Classified (64) | MM Extended Ascension w/ Pedestal | Corsair HX1050
    24GB Patriot Viper II ‘Sector 7’ 2000mhz (9-11-9-27) @ 1.65v | 2x EVGA GTX480 (875/2000 @1.1v) | CPU, GPUs and Mobo on H2O

    Dedicated Folding Rig: ~In Progress~
    Intel i7 3770K | EVGA Panther Point Mobo | Corsair AX650 | 8GB Corsair Vengeance 2000mhz (10-10-10-27) @ 1.5v
